Oh man… The Steem Sisters are stepping it up a notch for Halloween! In case you missed it… yesterday we posted our Halloween Costumes as Steem Goddesses!
We have toooons more content coming your way in the next few days as well. One of the best ones being this special Halloween episode. We got so many fun questions from you guys on this topic and had a lot of fun digging into our strange childhood pasts…

What are some of your favorite costumes you’ve worn as an adult?
@littlescribe – If you could go back in time and actually go trick or treating… what age would you pick, what would your costume be, what houses would you hit up etc?
Describe a typical Halloween night in the Thompson household.

The Synagogue of Satan
As promised – here is a link to the revival service that we had to watch every Halloween to help ward off evil spirits. Get your popcorn… oh and probably a drink. You might need a drink.
We share this story in the episode…but the craziest part of this all… is that I(@coruscate) was physically in the crowd for this service… and HERE’S THE PROOF! We looked up this video as a joke and couldn’t believe it when we spotted me and my mom in the crowd.
What is the Steem Sister Show All About?
We aim to bring more “non-crypto” related content to the Steem Blockchain. Although there is nothing wrong with this kind of content (@coruscate even posts on crypto related material sometimes) – we want to help create a better onboarding experience for new users. We talk a lot about attracting new users to the platform – but if the trending page is filled with crypto posts and flagging wars, they are likely to lose interest quickly.
We hope that by creating content that is more similar to what they are used to seeing on other social media sites – they will feel more excited about being here and creating content of their own!
How Does It Work?
We pick a different topic every episode, and then throw totally random questions about that topic in a hat and go back and forth. We always have a mix of our own questions and some audience questions. Our rule is that we cannot tell each other our answers before filming! So you guys are getting our raw, unfiltered reactions here.
Every episode we announce the next week’s topic so people can submit questions.

It's so weird how candlelight is actually seriously automatically spooky.... except, of course, when everyone suddenly gets smiley and wavy.
Ugh! I've also never really done Halloween, never liked scary movies or been in a fun house or anything like that. It's so not a thing in Australia, and now, I dunno, I'm just not that into it.
I can logically understand why people like being scared, the shock, the surprise, the relief, the laughs, but ugh, I just hate it. I hate being tense...
Your childhoods are just so fascinating, I was at religious schools, my parents weren't religious but my grandparents were super, super religious, so I've had a small peek into your world, but wow.... just, wow.
So, ah, hard decisions hey? So for most normal things, I don't really think there are really any bad decisions... as long as you commit yourself 100% to whichever direction you go. I would definitely say being too afraid or hesitant in making a decision is way worse than making a "bad" decision...
My question to the Steem Goddesses is:
Have you ever made a really good decision, that just totally backfired/exploded/crumbled?
I’m with you! I can’t stand scary movies/fun houses and things like that. I don’t see the point of putting myself through all that stress! Haha

I barely did, if i was trembling in fear so bad i would have ended it at 3
Listened to the video for a moment and got scared. That was eye-opening.
This was my costume this year. It was well received and my goal of having the CVS cashiers get the tampons coupon to scan in ended a fun night shown here at 4am.
No way!!!! Hahaha I can’t believe it actually worked. That’s a hilarious costume idea.

Making the right decision is not easy. Sometimes we have to fight ourselves to argue which one is the best. Regarding Mery in a condition where she have to choose the better one, I wonder how will you solve your problem? Would you rather solve it by yourself or discuss it with your friend, boy friend or family? And what is the point do you think a decision you take is the best one?
Anyway, anything you take for your decision later, I hope you will never leave this platform 😷
