Interesting posts, adding knowledge, the sun is the center of our solar system. Many sources also say that one of the factors that make our earth is habitable is because the earth gets enough sun exposure. Sunlight itself has a role and benefits that are so important for human survival on earth.
Yes, life on earth would not exist without the energy from the sun. For starters, there would be no photosynthesis, then everything would freeze up. Without plants, animals would become cannibals and die off. So yeah, we owe our life to the sun.
I agree with @churchboy, other than that some sources mention that if someone exposed to sunlight for approximately 6 hours each day, the individual will be fresh in the evening.
