Finally! The day has finally arrived. It is a day of mixed feelings of joy, anxieties and regrets.

It is a day of Joy for Mr. Evans' family having their dad work for 35years for the government, and being due for the compulsory retirement as stipulated by law. For them, their dad can finally have some rest from early morning wakes to rush out before the highways are gridlocked.

Unknown to them however, Mr. Evans has made some bad financial moves by signing as guarantor to a distant relative for the loan he took from the bank. The relative has also defaulted in the loan repayment severally, now Mr. Evans' retirement benefits may likely not get to him if such loan is not repaid within the next few months.

Getting off the bed in usual commando style every morning for work, Mr. Evans unlike other days moves to his library instead of the restroom. After gently closing the doors, he opens his cabinet where he had hidden photocopies of the transaction from his beloved wife. He had left his wife on bed to go review this document that could change everything they had built together in the last 3 decades.

After relaxing on his sofa in the library thinking about the warning the wife gave him not to sign as guarantor to the loan, he didn't know why he had fallen to such weakness of the promise of double of the amount as gift by his relative.

The regrets set in. What will happen to them now? How will his beloved wife feel knowing that he secretly signed to the loan contract? He has never hidden anything to her before now.

Those and many other unanswered questions were bubbling in his mind when suddenly the door knob turned.
