Welcome to SublimeSunday a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a
I do enjoy this challenge and it gives me the chance to do some creative edits, and something a little different, this week I decided to have some fun with shots of bridges.

This fiirst one is a shot of the 59th Street Bridge, my favorite bridge in NYC, and as always I will say I cannot see this bridge or edit a photo of it without thinking of the Simon and Garfunkel song feeling groovy.

Now lets go from a big bridge to a simple walkign bridge here in Milford, the Hotchkiss bridge which crosses over between Helwig Street and Fowler Field behind the library, and I went for a pinhole camera effect with this edit.

And since the last one was mono I went perhaps overboard with color and funkiness with this edit of the same bridge.

And heading back to NYC for the last shot walking over the Brooklyn Bridge, such cool detail on this bridge and always fun to walk across it, I try to visit and walk over this bridge once every few months, normally early morning when it is not too busy, but I must say so many walk and cycle over this bridge to and from the city that it is never quiet.

Howdy there JJ! what wonderful shots and the one of the Brooklyn Bridge is extraordinary seeing it in scale with all the people on it, you can see how massive that thing is!

You are very welcome JJ and things are going great with me, hey I saw on one of your posts you said something about stitches? What's that about?
Just the cost of too much time in the sun when I was younger, its common back in NZ with the weak Ozone layer, another bit of skin cancer removed, but its all good I am getting regular checks and catching them early, this was a smaller one only 16 Stitches and they come out tomorrow :)
oh I'm sorry to hear about it but thankful that it's all good. What do they do, what is the proceedure?
the procedure is simple really they just chop out the damaged area, this one was done two weeks ago, and the stitches come out today
Howdy this fine Friday JJ! Well, dang.."chop out the damaged area" that sounds painful! How deep do they cut?
Well I made it sound more dramatic than it is probably, this last one was one my back so I didnt see how deep it was, but it was 5 or 6 internal stitches and about 15 stiches externally, and the wound was about one and a half inches long, , most of mine havent been to deep the ones that I saw being done, some were long, one on my side was about 35 Stiches

Great bridge photos and edits @tattoodjay! I like the Hotchkiss bridge. The way it goes up then fades out due to the arch of the bridge. I love photos that leave open the endless possibilities of what lies beyond the horizon
Such a cool comment, I used to live a short walk from this Bridge and would walk over it almost every day I to love this bridge

That's some awesome looking bridges you got there and your getting pretty creative my favorite is that last photo the editing is amazing that's picture frame material ...lol :)
Thanks Kindly, they are fun edits to do, I have sold a couple of prints of a similar photo to the last one, but just with standard edits
I am sure there are people out there that like that sort of stuff i would hang it in my hallway to :)

I just saw your post and loved that bridge and the history of it,
there is nothing you need to do as far as dropping the link anyway, its a tag and Sunday challenge and I am sure @c0ff33a will be following the tag and catch your post at some stage :)
