A little taste of Portugal in the Heart of London
This shop have been open for a while and it is called "Café de Nata".
It is a Portuguese shop that sell our traditional and so popular custard pie.
But in case You don't know there is no translation for it.
The ones and only original will always be called "Pastel de Nata" no matter where in the world You get them.
You also can get a nice and traditional single espresso.
Because that's how we drink our coffee. I haven't checked the quality or which brand they use there so I can't assure You that the coffee it is good.
This shop bake them fresh and it is probably the closest You will get from the Original ones that You can buy in Belém. That are called "pastéis de Belém" and their recipe is more secretive than any FBI secret You can imagine.
Obviously they overcharge but it is understandable because it is something You can't get in every corner.
If You have never tried a Pastel de Nata I totally recommend. It is almost impossible You won't love them.

You of all people should have an entry each contest, @sergiomendes. You are very good at photos and you are out in the world eating and drinking a lot. Just get the cheapest thing and take photos every time and then you will be ready when the contests come out. I'm sure you will start winning too :)

I guess because I am not very active checking other reviews in there and I am dont know a lot of people that have their account connected to tasteem :D But anyway You know I dont mind and I do like to try and find new places. So it is fun for me anyway to come out with this reviews :D

Yeah it is good to get them fresh because that's how they taste the best.

Eheh I would. But they wouldn't be as good as fresh ones... I bet you can find a Portuguese coffee shop in there that serve them. We are everywhere lol

Ohhh Macao. The last of the Portuguese colonies that became independent 21 years ago. But I have heard that still the Portuguese influence is huge.
