The Hive weekly update, Edition 2
After doing a post on the different sites we can use to view or stats I thought to use one in some of todays update. In last weeks post, I showed the SP we had. A total of 124 SP we began the week with, additional delegation increased our total to 154,380. The .380 is from our 1st posts payout and the curation points we picked up. we also have just under 1 SBD.
I have Highlighted a few points in this post
1st. I have underlined we still have a minimum threshold payment on our vote even with the fall in value.
2nd. The rewards for the week, This only shows the last 5 days. Personally I am not disappointed, we started there with less than 25 members and we have now reached 43 for the first couple of days we did not invite openly to the group either. This barrier has been removed. How we grow now depends greatly on the members we bring to the group. Invite those friends you like :) https://discord.gg/SQ3zSsp

4th. Our rep that is a nice bit of growth 36.5
We have given out 80 votes and received 131. Lets have a look at this breakdown.
I have to things highlighted in this image. Showing the differences in vote received. This was pointed out to me through the week, I do not see it as anything serious and here is why. We work on an initiative to reward interaction of the group. That is all we have done, Personally I thought a different name would of been at the top. (shows it is hard to keep track of things in your head).
When we started we had a slow start a limited amount of people with 10 votes a day to go around. It took a little bit of time for everyone to get an understanding of what we are doing. Even though the concept is mine, this is my first time to actually experiment with it on a working level. (I do believe the concept to be solid). Those who joined earlier will always be a bit of % above others as they will have had a higher % of votes from the group. From votes on their posts or votes for the trail. @dawnsheree and @foxyspirithave both received a vote more than the rest, This primarily is that both had in the last week mentioned The Hive in a post they had made, I made a choice that that was good group stuff and I rewarded with a vote. @foxyspirit will catch up with @dawnsheree and @warpedpoetic will move up a notch as the votes go down the line again.
I mention this as this was brought to my attention by someone else. I do not think they mentioned it in a bad way. others may also see the difference and this is the reason why. Interaction. over time you will see those % get closer and closer.
I am also thinking about Witness. no silly not us, as in passing the Hive vote to witness. I have in mind @danielsaori after that I am open to nominations from the group or objection to those we should not. Well I am surprised to be up there as well. Did not expect that, but cool.
I would like to point out that in this post, it has shown some encouragement to write more posts about things that could benefit everyone. So to me, The Hive does more than just support people.
I don't know many witnesses out there so it would be nice to know a bit about them, hoping that there are others that share a bit about those they would like to encourage.
I know for myself I had voted a few, but I have more votes available that could be put to good use.
I am also curious as to what the contest is. Is it up in the contest page in the Discord channel?
The final contest has yet to be set as I know, It is an effort to assist them get their weekly contest going again.
I like the update and the breakdown you did. I think the first week has been going good.

From an idea to...Uhm..."this!" We are buzzing along nicely for what is essentially the efforts from a matter of days when you really think about it. Where will a month, 3 months, a year take us? Only time will tell.
The greatest part so far is the epic comments and enthusiastic encouragement from an amazing bunch of members who "care". Steemit seems to me to be a number of communities within a community and from this nucleus of an idea has sprouted a community that demonstrates great potential.
It's truly heartening to know that no matter how crazy things become on the blockchain we can always retire to the security of the hive
