They are beautiful... and pretty well preserved... The first photo with the reddish panels on top - they look like the patterns on woven textiles to me. That 'portal' as you call it - is gorgeous!
I am glad you like it. That “portal” which is a door still gives me the goosebumps.
The designs around it, actually are somewhat similar to the dot art/painting of the aborigines of Australia...
