RE: Kim's Quest #7: Things to Do in Toledo City, Cebu

in #travel5 years ago

I think that there are many areas in the world that are generally perceived like not interesting, or rather that there is nothing in there. I think that beauty can be found everywhere if you just open your eyes and mind. Not all places need to be instagram-like to be enjoyable..

I have never been to Philippines and I'm glad that you showed a place that can't be easily seen in other travel blogs..

Your photos are so nice and you have a great eye for detail. I also like the way you edit them..

I am a little bit surprised by that toxic waterfall. How is it possible that you can access the area? And where does the water go? To that lake? Or? Just wonder where the toxic material ends up.

You had some up and downs with your travel experience but I think you've also learned a lot and an adventure doesn't always need to be only positive..

Thank you for sharing. It's really been a pleasure to see your lovely photos!

Thank you so much for those nice words, @delishtreats! It was not really me who took the photos. It was my friend, @legendarryll, who took those stunning photos. He only allowed me to use his photos whenever we travel together. I bought a camera just recently, so the photos in my next travel will be mine, but it will not be as good as his.

About that toxic waterfall, it's just along the road where locals usually traverse going to the other side of the lake. And yes, those railings end up in the lake, which is actually depressing to witness.

Indeed, not all travels are positive and I learned to embrace all of them.
