Faust's House, Karlovo náměstí, Nové Město, Praha 2
The legend of Faust lives in Europe from the 16th century. Perhaps in every old Europe we will find some Faust's house ... This one is in Prague.
Beneath it is a pagan burial ground. In its foundations of the 14th century, seven cat skeletons were found. The house was in fact owned by alchemist Magister Edward Kelly in 1590, and later by the enlightenment scientist, Count Mladota. And during the bombing of Prague by the Americans in February and March 1945 all the buildings in the area were destroyed or damaged. Only this one no. Who knows ... Today there is a pharmacy.
