I've not done that. I hear the skis are very different. What's it like?
To me, it is more like hiking. You glide your foot forward and help with the sticks. Some areas have prepared ways to go skiing on. I am not an expert since I live in a no snow climate, but have gone and loved it when I was visiting in Germany.
I do love hiking. I'll have to try it sometime.
