In the last episode of Jessi and Greg's Travelers' Honeymoon. We brought you to a pretty little lake just outside of Kalpetta in Pookode. where we played with Monkeys!!!!

The Travelers' Honeymoon:

We got married once in the desert, once again by the sea and these are the stories of our Eight Month Honeymoon. What better test of compatibility is there than traveling on a shoestring with your partner.... India can really make the best and the worst come out of you... sometimes it's Heaven and sometimes it's pure Hell!

Why did I take such a long break from writing this blog?

I'n not sure really... I got into all these other things, including starting to build our Multi-Family Homestead with anarchist tendencies, which has been a blast to finally start thing dream that had been manifesting for such a long time! And than the rainy summer brought us so many mushrooms I had found something new to learn about, along with trying to figure out how to live Off-Grid!

Time to get that thing going again?

Yeah I think it's time for sure... I've been slacking on starting it up again because... well, it doesn't really matter why, they're just excuses for delaying it! I thought I had done a pretty good job writing about our honeymoon, there are still roughly 4 months to write about. I will have to dig deep into that memory bank (I can't find my journal!), but the hardest part of it all really was finding the right photos in my archives, editing them to what I like and the layout. I like travel blogs to flow you know, in a kind of organic way. If you read any of the older posts, you will see that I write mostly about our actual trip, our feelings and our discoveries.... But don't expect to read anything like a rough guide or how to travel blog.

It's simply our adventures through a few mystical places! I hope some of yo will enjoy the trip.

QUOTE OF THE MONTH: @iamjadeline
Embrace both your strength and weaknesses as they knitted into one you, and you are knitted together with one another. Like in an ocean of planktons, red fish, dolphins and whales, all are knitted to form the ecosystem. So embrace your own life.

wow I have a lot of catching up to do on your 8 month honeymoon, now that is the way to do it my friend. You are really going to keep me busy, all those titles are sure calling out to me. I hope you are well xxx

Thanks that's very sweet... and a bit of reading too! The titles and sorting through some old photos were the hardest part of that series!

I hope you enjoy it 😁

I am not sure if I understand it correctly. Are you on a 8 months honeymoon. If yes, wow.....I am so much jealous of you...hehehe.....Enjoy the happy times and yes India can be very warm and welcoming and at the same time can get very nasty also, but all said and done at the end of it you will feel accomplished of exploring this place.

The 8 months is corect, but this was back in 2012 and I only started writing about them last year!

That was my second time traveling through India, and the second time I have a love/hate relationship with that place. So funny how sometimes you can walk through the most wonderful smells and seconds later the worst ever!!!

I already want to go back!

The color of those spices gives you the impression you are in a candy shop! Eight months honeymoon? Wow!

Lol, yeah it's true, it is kind of candy like!

Nice work - I like the episodic style. explore it a bit myself.

Thanks, too much detailed story to go into one post... I didn't think each one would be just a few days on average!

I have a similar perspective. Someone recently asked why I release my videos in sections. The answer is that honestly, it would take me a very long time to produce even a 10 minutes video in the way I'm doing my shorts. However, next year I do intend to explore a much longer format project.

Followed you today - looking forward to more posts

Sections are good for the viewers too... as time passes, I think we will turn away grom video and heand toward audio. People are busy and watching less. With audio people can multi task

love those spices. gorgeous!

Yeah so nice right?

Such a great time... and a few bad ones especially with that Dehli Belly, we both got pretty sick twice in that trip

Heehee... yep 8 months!!! We're crazy loke that. Sorry for the late reply though..

Haha, I don't have a clue!!! This was take probably bout a month after Holi Festival, which has tons of bright colored powders like that...

Oh right! next time ask the seller :-D or I might have to visit India one day and ask them " what are those made up of?"

Sometimes in the midst of all the excitment we forget to ask questions! But yeah next time I'll try and remember.

If you go to India, it's well worth it!

No better test of character and compatibility than travel
