Our balcony in Prague was the perfect place to have scrambled eggs, a beer or a punnet of plump cherries. Six floors below the crowds streamed past, but we could gaze at the glorious view of St Nicholas church, the spires of St Vitus cathedral and the Prague castle in the background.
