RE: Tree Tuesday goes Shopping

Picking the right Christmas tree is a serious matter. One of the options we have over here: baby evergreens in pots. They can be planted after they served festive purpose and become part of the garden and be decorated next year. Obviously, one can never have too many Christmas trees, right? 🙂🎄

I have used potted plants many times and love them! If we have a cut tree or cut our own, we plant 10 in its place to keep it all going. One can never have too many Christmas trees!! You are so right!

Thank you for the tip. Much appreciated.
I wish for more people to be like you and me. Planting trees instead of just cutting. There was huge improvement made in the last 10 years or so. We have special evergreen nurseries where they grow trees especially for Christmas. 🙂

Yes!! Christmas Tree Farms. That is where I go, but, in the Spring, The Forest Service "Plant-A-Tree" Program permits individuals and groups to donate money for the planting of trees on National Forests. I pulled that from Google to explain, or on Arbor Day, plant the 10 they give you for donating. It is a win-win, I think.

Nobody should cut without planting. :(
