RE: Pirates of Silicon Valley (TV special): Very informative - highly recommended

in #tv6 years ago

What discovery could give the world new Gates and Jobs? Does it exist in nature in general? In our age of general satiety and the cult of the golden calf, it is difficult to imagine similar things in common with Apple and Microsoft. According to pessimistic forecasts, people will rather destroy existing resources, not having enough desire to produce new ones. So it turns out or not - time will tell, but the importance of intelligence as the main driving force in society is unlikely to ever be challenged. Whatever the current circumstances, current trends and the world situation, and the human potential is far from exhausted, the more we can improve life practically to infinity. Instincts pioneers of the computer era were not deprived, but what would they cost without the inherent entrepreneurial vein and the desire to carry their achievements to the masses? Ironically, only Steve Jobs could rightly be considered an idealist, while Bill Gates's pragmatic beginning was born earlier than the romantic one. An excellent picture of Martyn Burke captures a tight braid, which at that time intertwined the relationship of information revolutionaries. Who and with what right felt himself more important - now no longer matters. Binary code in the history inscribed the names of both, as well as the names of pirate ships, reminiscent of themselves every time you turn on the monitor screen or display.
