#ULOG - Daily Thoughts - 06 Jul 18 - Homesteading Today...

The clouds are coming for our sunshine, NOOOOOO, that means the rain is on its way, oh well at least the farmers crops will all get a good drink. :D
At least the clouds covering our sunshine are kind of pretty. :D
The chicks were feeling brave this morning, a few even came towards me as I was checking their food and water. :D
Belle (1), Candy (2), and Princess (3) enjoying some breakfast before heading to the side pasture for a drink. :D
Leroy (1) and Buddy (2) wanted to sleep a bit longer but Joker (3) was willing to come say “good morning” to me. :D
I called Belle (2), Princess (1), and Candy (3) over to the barn for milking and oats and they came running this morning, LOL. :D Normally I call them, and they mosey on over at a snail’s pace. :D
Joel (1) was wide awake when I went to say “good morning” to the piglets and check their water dish but Billy (2) was still asleep and snoring softly. :D Billy has a bad habit of tipping their water dish and it looks like he did it again before I got there. Thankfully my husband left a bucket of water in the barn for them before he left for work and I only had to get it from the front of the barn before they had a full water dish again, at least for a few minutes until Billy got to it that is, LOL. :D
Breakfast time for Joel (1) and Billy (2), they really enjoy the fresh milk with their feed. :D They slurp it like they’re eating soup, its so cute. :D
Joel (1) and Billy (2) had full bellies and settled in for a nap while I finished milking Belle. :D
Our beautiful grand-puppies Lady (1) and Mya (2) and our handsome grand-puppies Tiny (3) and Shadow (4) enjoyed a bit of play/keep an eye on grandma time while I did the chores and refilled the water tubs for the herd. :D
Our pretty puppy mom Karma (2) and our handsome puppy dad Dakota (1) keeping an eye on their children while they play and watch grandma. :D
Joel (1) and Billy (2) enjoyed playing in their pen this morning, until it started drizzling, then they weren’t so sure, LOL. :D
Its cooler in the barn today so Joel should have a more enjoyable day in the barn than yesterday when it was sweltering with the humidity. :D
I need to find a way to stop Billy from tipping their water dish, he just did it again, naughty boy. :D
Its pouring out there right now.
Belle (1), Candy (2), and Princess (3) enjoying a pre-supper nap in the cool, wet grass of the front pasture. :D

I see some interesting things in cloud formations on occasion. I've seen a small family, (mom and dad on the outer edges of the clouds with a toddler between them), choir singer with robe, I've even seen animals in them once in a while. I think its great to let your imagination go and see what you can see in clouds, its very relaxing. :D
I'm so glad you liked them and found a favorite among the photos. :D I always have a hard time choosing which ones to include. I've been thinking about adding a new "Sunsets" post to use some more of the many, (probably way too many) pictures I take. I'm surprised that so many of them actually come out as good as they do and want to share them, but I'm not sure if people would like posts of just sunset pictures. What do you think, would you enjoy seeing daily or maybe weekly posts of just sunset pictures on top of my #gratefulvibes and #ULOG daily posts? I'd really like your opinion. :D I've mentioned making posts like this before and asked for everyone's opinions but never really gotten a response in the past. :D
