There is two errors here on the same sentence:

"Primeiro surgiu uma pequena espécie de mancha no solo, e logo outra, e outra, e outra e assim seguiram crescendo os fungos por todo o lugar."

First, the period at the end of the sentence is already outside the []. Adding it here will appear as double period on the game.
"por todo lugar" do not exist on the original sentence.

All these strings have 2 kinds of errors:

The use of {} inside []. Like i said before, this is not recognized by the code. Inside [] you can only use the variables $he (and similars). You have to adjust the translated sentences to use these variables or change the words in a way that fit both genders.

Wrong translations or typos like "The snow had blinded $him" translated as " A neve chegou-{o|a}". Check the corrections i did on each string.
