Immersion

Lavender galaxy - tiny watercolor

Word immersion comes to mind when describing my approach to learning more complex things. Immersion in the sea of information. Scary chaos at first as all unknowns are to us. Slight hesitation before taking a plunge. What does it all mean? Feed my curiosity with all the feeds and streams. Why doesn’t it all make sense right this moment? Processing power. Need more processing power. Or, maybe time? Absolutely time. When is the question? Keep calm and more input.

At one point it begins to form clearer and clearer imagery. All of a sudden I grasp more and more of the alien language you speak and even speak it myself tiny bit by bit. Is it silly to be fascinated by the process of processing the chaos?

Silly or not I find so much joy within the questioning, happily exclaiming I get it, I get it! and oh, should dig deeper on this one. Occasionally who am I fooling, I totally don’t get it frustration with a hint of embarrassment. The don’t get bits, however, are not necessarily something permanent. More like don’t get yet bits instead. No getting discouraged and throwing in the towel before time though. A Mistake repeated too many times.

Keep paddling, soaking, and diving deeper dummy! You’ll get there. Eventually.

Oh my goodness! Thank you so much :)

Great now I know I will get there. Thanks for this reflecting artwork I enjoyed it.

Thank you for stopping by @geekzilla I am glad you found this enjoyable :)

Good advice! ... That painting was made by you? I like that face ... I've never been able to draw a face well :(
By the way, how do you follow your knee?

Thank you @blessed-girl ^^

Yes. The Painting is made by me, hehe. I should do some more proof of work or capturing of the process in the future. I just find it as extra hassle and I need to get the lights for those progress shots, since I mostly paint at night time, but I love natural lighting for photography. I guess I should just do the pile of 2019 works or something at least. So far though I've made three pieces, haha

Ah faces and human forms are still a struggle for me too.

Knees are doing more or less ok. I try and avoid exercise that involves more impact on them. Basically I banned them from being overworked, but my hip is letting me know about it, meaning the issue is still there and hurts sometimes. As soon as it will be possible, I am looking forward for a doctor to have it all checked out and if need be I am willing to let them cut me open xD

How are you doing? Is 2019 treating you well?

I love your watercolor painting @m31, the combination of blue, violet, purple and pink is very well balanced. Peaceful and wintery, as you used mostly cold colours. We have a magazine where we present Artworks, but we include the works with process photos. Just if you do next painting and do couple of pictures during the work we would be happy to include your work in our magazine, Cheers, @Stef1

Hey @stef1 :) Thank you so much for your kind words.

Yeah, so far I've not really included much of my process ever simply due to being amateur, messing up a lot, it is a hassle with light and I struggle with aesthetics of the process too, because mine is really messy I think and also it takes even more time and disrupts the process of creating meaning work work work, stop to take pictures, work work work, take pictures. I get why people would want to see them, curiosity for one and mostly proof of work. I will try to work on that in future though.
