The They-Made-Me-Do-It Watercolor #1
This one is for @veryspider and @scrawly. I mean, because of. Their fault.
Seriously, though, I think it was my big mouth. Since I like watercolors and last year I tried to learn a bit. Then I forgot everything, but when I saw them doing it ... I said so but I said it more like a wish.
So, starting from ground zero. I know it's so wrong on so many levels but at least I would still show it. Didn't make me wanna dump it in the bin and that's something.
I know I didn't get air perspective, nor shadings, nor anything as it should be. I actually wanted to start with something simple when... @veryspider told me it should be an alien landscape of New Mogadishu - a place from an adventure we started together on Steem blockchain a few months ago. Which may still continue when and if we find the time. Also, I tried painting the character of @improv who is a tree. Just landed on that planet, by the way.
Alright, forget that I know anything. Tell me all that I did wrong, please.

These girls always have good ideas :) So its good that they made you to do it :) I didn't know that you were working on a project with spider. I wish you all the luck with it! I must have missed it but I'm looking forward to seeing it alive - hopefully soon..
Your watercolor is very good! I like the color of the ground that you chose and also the sun setting down.. And those trees look magical.. well, they must be magical as their shape is not very standard ;)

I like it, Manol! Love that you include @improv's tree who just landed on the planet !!! :D I like the russet colours you used for the earth and the nice dramatic shadows :D :D :D

Great colors and composition! You did an awesome job with the landscape! Watercolors can be a little hard to get used to if you've been painting in other mediums! Just keep it up!

Actually, my medium is photography and I almost don't use brushes... A bit during last March-June period when I got into it and before that... before high school, so almost 20 years ago.
I am no expert but I like it ;)
Especially with all the requests and non request that you fit in ;D
Well, I am a sucker for challenges so when they resonate with something I want to do anyway... If I had the time :)

The first time is just because I like doing it XD.
There's a feeling of heat about this place, its warmth is emanating from the sun and the earth.
For a first attempt it's ... something. By the way, there's always stages that look better at some point, and then I spoil them by trying too much.
I know that feeling well. And the other familiar feeling is when the picture is fully painted but somehow it doesn't feel finished in my head so I keep fixing little things that bother me and they keep popping up XD.
Yeah, but you're experienced and skilled. I had good dunes at some point and then I... And then... and after that... And now those are third generation deluded down dunes which have nothing in common with those that had appeared on the paper earlier :)
Whatever, though, next time will be better.
