Tried something new...Weddings!

I did not know Terrance and Jenna when I was asked by a mutual friend to shoot their wedding. I was terrified. I had never really shot a wedding before, except for a friends low-key beach wedding recently (in which I learned a TON). Wedding photos are a big deal to people, and I had no insight into the couples personality. All I knew is that they put the wedding together in less than two weeks and really needed a photographer.

I was assured that they didn’t need much, just a few shots capturing their ceremony and a few pics with their friends and family. So, the day of the wedding, I showed up with camera in hand, and no idea what to expect.

What I got, was the sweetest couple, with the sweetest families. I instantly fell in love them.

There was no shortage of love between these two. Their respect for each other and their families really came through. They welcomed me with open arms. What I thought would be a couple hours turned into 8 as they allowed me to truly share their day.

Here are a few of my favorite shots. I thank them from the bottom of my heart for letting me grow in what I love doing, and also for sharing their special day with me. Here is to forever Jenna and Terrance!
