Wednesday Walk: Views From the Parking Lot

My Wednesday Walk started with a drive to the hardware store for Hubs to pick up some furnace filters.

As we left the driveway, I noticed the snow still covering the ground and how Jack Frost had clothed the bare tree branches in white.





While Hubs was in the store picking up the filters, I walked around the parking lot checking out the view below of the Montague River.





To the lower right are the fish sculptures and in the long building with the clock on top, a Lawyer’s Office and Dental Clinic.


Looking down from the elevated position in the parking lot, I see the yellow fish and chip vehicle has closed for the season.





Another view of the river. It hasn’t frozen over...water is still flowing freely.





All the boats have been removed from the harbour basin and communty activities have ceased there until spring.

Town of Montague has hosted many fun events and concerts at the waterfront.

Wednesday Walk is a challenge started by @tattoodjay, the idea is to get out for a short walk, get some shots of what you can see within a short distance of your home office or wherever you start.
