Nice love story, @samminator. I liked his light, ironic and even humorous tone, in addition to your ability to present us with verisimilitude the narrator character as a young student who talks about his first experience of love. His title comes in handy. Curiously, love can go from passion and fascination, to disappointment and rejection, only to be blinded or not understand the characteristics of the other or the circumstances that may surround an experience with him.
