Why Write?

in #writing6 years ago

I personally believe that everyone should write, it is a good way to share information, clarifying our ideas as well. The simple act of writing, can help us think better and deepen our thoughts, however, writing not only helps us, but by making our writings public, a large number of people, and with it society, benefit greatly from your thoughts.

Think of all the information you have in the brain, all the ideas, theories, hypotheses, all of your worldview. All that information can be very useful for the world, you may not notice it, you may not see it that way, but the reality is that on this planet there are 7,000 million people with objectives, goals and desires that we can't even imagine. Among those billions, a large number, more than you think, is exactly looking for the information that you already have.

You can believe that nobody is interested in you and your opinion, but the reality is that in the world there are so many people that by making this claim you are only fooling yourself.

Now, what would happen if all that information you have in the brain ceased to exist? What would happen if a brain went out, and could not share the valuable information that is in it?

Can you now understand why the loss of one person is a loss for all humanity?

It is not by the strength of our arms and legs that we can overcome all animals, nor is it by the sharpness of our senses, but by the ability of our mind and brain to acquire, process, maintain, and ultimately, generate information.

The human can dominate the earth because it has the capacity to transmit information, that is, because it can acquire knowledge and maintain it for generations. If this process is damaged, then human societies and organizations too.

There lies the importance of sharing information, and our perception of it. You don't need a university degree or the most experienced brain to change the world, we just need to be able to share the information.

We could attribute the discovery of the law of universal gravitation to Isaac Newton, but he was aware of that natural law not because of his own intelligence, which he had, but because, as he himself said, he managed to mount on the shoulders of his ancestors in order to see further away. He could use the information of his environment, and the information of past generations, to create a new one, or instead of creating it, make it known to humanity.

Bernard of Chartres used to say that we are like dwarves perched on the shoulders of giants, and thus we are able to see more and farther than the latter. And this is not at all because of the acuteness of our sight or the stature of our body, but because we are carried aloft and elevated by the magnitude of the giants.

Hoarding Ideas

Above I asked how much information would be lost if a brain went out, but do you know what is just as tragic? that he did not share his knowledge.

Think for a moment that it would happen if Newton were not manifested his observation, if that knowledge was kept for him, think how many more years, how many decades, or hundreds, we would have (humanity) delayed in possessing that information, that knowledge.

Think of how much information has been lost throughout history because man kept his thoughts locked up.

Socrates, for example, did not write any work, we would not know about him, if it were not for his disciples, mainly Antisthenes, Aristippus, Xenophon and Plato, mention it in his writings.

Think how many thinkers such as Socrates did not exist in different civilizations and at different times, but that they did not have someone who could record their knowledge. These people were simply forgotten, and that information also went with them.

Think all the knowledge that there is in a single human brain, all the information acquired, all those ideas that are being monopolized in the mind of a single person, if that information is not shared, if that information is left only in the brain of a man, stagnates, and if he is not able to do something with that information, then it is exactly the same as if he had never had it.

After all; If a tree falls in a forest and no one is around to hear it, does it make a sound? Can something exist without being perceived? Can information exist without knowledge?

We could say that when someone is not able to share or use his knowledge, when he leaves no evidence of the existence of this, then that information ceases to exist after an ephemeral life in his head, which necessarily means a setback for humanity.

Think about sharing information, don't know how much it will change the world.

You're so right. Since I'm writing on Stemmit I can think about a lot of things in a other way around than before. That's really amazing and clears my mind in a wonderful way.

I don't think writing is the best way for everybody. Maybe one person have to talk with another person or should create a video. But sharing thoughts can clear your mind! Thats a fact!

Thanks for your inspiration!

Yeah, I was close to mentioning that, because any form of expression, such as music or painting, any audiovisual material, even sensitive, can transmit information, and often even better than written. The important thing is to share the information, but not how, that depends on each one.

Thank you for passing, and to take the time to share your thoughts. Greetings.

Wow I had not read a publication as true as this one, I had never thought of it that way and you are certainly right, in our heads there is a totally new world and we should all show it to others, we will find things really incredible. I will give you Reesteemer this post is worth gold. Thanks for sharing!
