That is a nice leisure afternoon with nice food at restaurant at seafront, like the description and dialogs somehow reading the story I have to think about the stories written by British Author Rosamunde Pilcher and Cornwall. I love such romantic place and all romantic stories have association with that place for me. As always really enjoyable and easy reading :)

The stories are very popular in Germany there is also series done based on that author's book and already running for couple of decades like a soap series. Therefore I know this Author :)
I used to be an avid reader but I now find myself listening to audio books in order that I can still enjoy favourite stories but multi-task at the same time.
It was a delight to sit and take a few moments to read this and be able to savour and enjoy some quiet time with it. I was intrigued and it drew me in.
I must go back and read your other excerpts, I would like to see where the story starts.

This book is wrapped around by Acting the Part - of which there have been 9 parts thus far, so not too much. Building on Promise will take us through the end of the month after which, we'll get the next part of Acting... (I think I'm going to add some easy-navigation to my posts... so that I can direct you to the beginning and make it easy to follow it through.)

I see a beginning of a love story between Tirry and Yewan, or I might be completely wrong too :) I have to get a kindle so that I can finally read your books before going to bed. That would probably be the only time when I could finally get into them. You sound like a natural story teller :)

This book is sort of the sequel to Elect to Change that was serialized earlier in the year - and is part of the Rebound of Power set (in the links above.) Towards the end, some other A'mara turn up to help in the elections and Tirry comments that "next time" bring a single man of her age... So, as we can see in the section of Acting the Part that precedes this, Tle-sun does just that - suggests to Saraca that Yewan is the best person for this job... But we have a long ways to go - and Tirry's just been told that Yewan would make a good friend regardless... (That always stings a little.)
