My Actifit & Ulog Report: April 6 2019
After getting woken up by Miss BB after just a few hours of sleep, I tried to enter dreamland again. But no such luck.
Consequently, the morning was slow. First, I stopped by at the library. I had won a basket of goodies the week before at the opening of the community garden.
My original plan was to walk there. But I had errands to run and wasn’t sure how big the basket was.
It turned out that the lady responsible for the prices had forgotten it at home. So, I still don’t know what it looks like.
Costco was next. That is where I did most of my walking today. It is a big store. 🤓
Then on to get a 50 lbs bag of chicken feed. At least my back is better so I was better able to lift it.
Back home, Miss BB needed a bath badly, the weather was warm, and my roommate was willing to help. Done deal!
I had an hour before it was time for grandma duty and I was planning to set a bunch of gopher traps.
My roommate was picking Mulberries and couldn’t reach well. Instead of catching gophers, I helped her to get to the berries. We bent the branches down and even tied some in place for easier access.
I ended up with fruit stained fingers and shirt - and almost 4 lbs of Mulberries. Not bad!
After all of that, the real fun started. I went around 2:30 to Dude # 3's house to hang out and give the parents some time to be alone. They need to take advantage of that since a little baby girl is going to join the family in July.
A friend of mine had left this toy mop in my truck when she used it to move a bunch of things. It is the right size for the dude and I thought I bring it to him. Apparently, he does Yoga or something since he decided to pose like this for a picture LOL.
See that innocent bucket in the background? It was filled with water. Soon, the mop was dipped in and we drew pictures with it on the cement.
You probably guessed that is wasn't going to take long for this.
He invited me in, but I declined LOL
Look at this beautiful little boy. How could it happen that he turned into this?
One will never know. At least now we know that Vampires can get wet and do just fine LOL

I am not sure that it is interesting - but lots of different things going on all the time - drives my husband crazy at times LOL

Coming from the lady who drives several hours to go to work, has a full day there, and still writes (and has a life LOL)
they taste a little bit like blackberries, but do have a flavor of their own. And no seeds LOL

He had so much fun with the bucket and the mop. Kids can create fun with everything and it is so sad that many are stuck in front of an electronic device all day long...
You're very correct with that using a mop stick as a fighting stick after watching "5 Shaolin Master" (a Chinese film), I don't know how I stumped it on the ground and tried to jump the next that happens is that it broke and I fell having some brusies on my laps, I started crying not because of the wound but the broken mop. My Mom came and saw me and rushed to give the wound treatment, she thought I slipped and fell. I never did tell anyone what really happened.🤣🤣🤣

What a little cutie pie! Jude used to sit in buckets when he was small enough too.. and then he would ask me to spin him around lol.
This one was full of water - spinning would have been a problem LOL Kids are so cute!!
I have never seen fresh boysenberry and I would love to taste it one day. The dark color of it makes me think that is is really sweet.
These are Mulberries, they look very similar and my roommate thinks that they taste like blackberries too. I think they are different but really good.
We are on a lingonberries jelly kick right now. It comes imported from Sweden though, and now available for picking the berries ourselves. I'm hoping to get enough strawberries this year to make some freezer jam.
I love lingonberries!! I go and eat at Ikea only to get some LOL
