Today I will continue going through the delegations I have made to accounts in the ecosystem which currently make up almost 30% of my total Steem Power. Yesterday was more focused on account building for the shorter term in addition to communities that have enabled me to reach more communities than I would have been to alone. The following delegations are more longer term value creation focus as they have the potential to become important parts of the ecosystem as many try to evolve into additional economies creating SMTs for their communities.

@dlike is one of the Dapps I have yet to use but have thought more about doing so as I often consume content from users who post there given the way it is setup. They also have their tokens being distributed as well and have an IEO in their roadmap. In the meantime, providing a delegation provides tokens being issued as well as some passive income!

@dclick is a project that caught my attention when announced as advertising is the main revenue source for many of the technology companies surrounding social and community engagement. It only makes sense that Steem eventually evolves with a model to deploy advertising and although a couple are starting to be seen, this project has my interest as it rewards the content creator. It also has a token which is used for upvotes as well as the potential for passive income.

@actifit is one of my favorite projects in the ecosystem as it has motivated me to focus on my fitness and health once again. I can do so while helping me accumulate Steem which is a great scenario! They recently had the first ISO on the Steem Engine platform which has been great to see how well received it was. Delegating provides tokens as well as some passive income. It also is part of the formula to achieve an upvote for the proof of activity when submitting your fitness progress on the blockchain.

@magicdice was one of the first gambling Dapps that gained traction here in the ecosystem. While I have been hesitant to try it out, I have delegated as a portion of proceeds goes to the token holders of the project. Delegating is one of the many ways to accumulate tokens in the project for a chance to receive distributions.

@pifc is a great community project that engages users to actively curate and engage with content creators. The concept of paying it forward has always attracted me and when the project needed support to remain sustainable, the community came together to build a great backing for it.

@beamentor is a project that is focusing on creating mentorship programs for Dapps that are lead by community members to assist the onboarding and education of new users. I have always been a fan of spending time and effort on new user onboarding so I was in immediately! I also had a great experience in the first mentorship program for Partiko which was a great experience.

In addition to these delegations, I have recently looked at leasing Steem Power as well. Given my effort to delegate a portion of my Steem Power over time, I have been seeking opportunities to lease out an extra Steem Power for passive income. I have found that @dlease, powered by @minnowbooster is a great service to do this. I believe they have a great interface that could soon be expanded to other digital assets which can make this even more interesting soon!

I think Steem and the DPOS protocol provides a great opportunity to diversify within an ecosystem to build a portfolio of revenue and support streams for the future of not only our individual accounts but also the accounts of great projects, communities, and Dapps that will exist to build value of the ecosystem. I feel that I cannot be the best value creator of the ecosystem given my size or even lack of skills to do so; however, delegating to those that can is a great way to create value throughout the ecosystem which will ultimately lead to more adoption and demand for the assets here. This is why I am always looking for opportunities to delegate to projects! I am sure there are more around but these are the ones that I have gotten to and have maintained thus far. Feel free to drop any that I have missed and should give a look at!

I will be sending some STEEM to @ocdb to promote this post for those in search of Curation Rewards.

I have been thinking about that one as well as they continue to push the boundaries of what could be done here far more than many other projects!

This and yesterday'a post inspired me to pull my delegation from tipu and put back on the ole content creator hat again.

A few more days until i'm officially done with the semester and i'll be back to the races lol.

Hopefully i'll be able to beat you in Steem monsters before the summer is over haha

Curation is definitely a great way to enjoy engaging around the community and I feel is very rewarding from a networking perspective. Let me know how Steem Monsters go for you and if you run into any issues!

I think they are one of the more actively growing ones out there! I enjoy the Dapp very much.

Correct me if I am wrong, you have been delegating steem power for a while now. Then you talk about leasing steem power. Are they not the same thing?????
Kindly throw more light on this, as I am Keen to learn from the Masters.
Cheers

So I delegate out for a return with leases but there are also opportunities to lease yourself to acquire Steem Power for a period of time. It could help you promote yourself more as well as gain curation rewards. I have not done it as I prefer and have the capital to buy it; however, some many have limited resources and leasing is an option.

Ok, so where do I go to in order to lease steem power? And how is it done?
Cheers

Hi
You have supported nice projects in steem some of them are amazing like Beamentor and actifit etc.. I wanted to ask how can I use OCDB. I tried once but its refunded back with comments that's it's only for whitelisted users. Is there any process to be a part of it?

No process... They find you and whitelist you. Keep your eyes out for some posts they make for recommendations. I will see what I can do for you!

Thank you so much @newageinv
I appreciate all your support and remember on march 9th you told me about tenkminnows programme and that time I was at 425 SP approx. I joined that and became Minnow within March by having 500 SP. It was possible because of your support and I am thankful to you for that. Now within another 2 months time I have 1000 SP in total.
Thanks to you for all your support and guidance in the platform.
