Here's the video you've been waiting 2 months for!
Inspired by @d00k13 and his drop the mop video I decided I too would chop my lovely long locks when I reached 500 followers!
And I have now! Thank you guys!! :D
I posted a week ago saying that I wasn't sure how much I should chop it and to my surprise, most people wanted me to keep my hair, or just wanted me to trim it hehe.. I was scared they would tell me to shave it but steemit folks are super nice! Much love to you!!
@d00k13 had a great idea, he told me to cut it long at the front and short at the back so I did!

Anyhow I want to give to back to the community the liquid payout of this post!
I heard recently in Australia (my country) via @teamaustralia how much the drought has affected the farmers and @jay.ell and I thought I could give the liquid payout of this video to their #hayrunners initiative - which aims to raise $2500 to get a Steemit truck to bring hay out to the farmers who are suffering the drought at the moment.

Easy just paste the link to the image and it will attach to bottom of comment in partiko, what I have done is open my own server in discord and I use the discord image hosting and links for simple entering
Open your own server, use bitmoji in discord must click image then paste into chat, submit, tap image, tap top right share, copy, paste link where you want it! Works for any images and also keeps your list on a separate host and private

Ohhh that’s clever!! I did accidentally open my own server on discord and wondered what I would do with it! Excellent idea for keeping all your bitmoji! Cos I find the bitmoji app doesn’t let you search for what you want but the ones in messages do!!! Ahh I’m gonna have so much fun thank you!!

Hahahaa I really wanted to do this for steemit as I said I would two months ago! It is a little sad cos I have some weddings to go to in December that would be nice to do some long hair with but ah well.... lol.
I also really wanted to give back to the communities that supported me but this farmer thing was an even better idea!

Yessss exactly! You can do a lot of hairstyles with your long hair! I feel sad for your hair.. hahahahaha... but anyhow you can still grow it back.
I like long hair, but i cut if off too because Im a BF momma and my hair always gets in the way for the little one. Soooo.. i did not cut his hair instead, ill let it grow till it reaches his shoulders.. haha well see then..

It’s moments like these when I realize the impact a simple idea and encouragement can have, proud of you for keeping your word that is a big deal to me. I still think you should have buzzed it 😉
You have got to keep one of the longest ones at least. Firsts are always something you want to remember but the others I really like your DIY doll idea.... you could sell them I know they would sell as people buy some weird things and you have video proof of it being your actual hair! Make for an interesting business.... could you imagine being a little girl playing with a doll that has real hair? Some would say it’s weird but maybe it’s the perfect opportunity to mold a young mind in so many ways with the message that doll could carry, be real and people will love you for who you are and what you do rather then simply having a Barbie doll figure 😉

Haha thanks for watching the video and paying attention to all the details!! I really wanted to keep my word cos I don’t like it when people make fake promises hehe or when people don’t follow through with what they say they would do.. (story of my childhood lol)
And it’s fun to do, and summer will be here soon so something easier to look after is better in the heat!
Hubby told me he likes it cos of how happy I was about it and my attitude to it made it look good haha.. that and he has never seen me in such short hair so he was curious haha

As for the making dolls thing I have to do some research lol..(dunno how hard it is to make one!!)
I posted the pic of the hair on Instagram and one person said to use it as compost and another told me there are places that take bleached hair too.. just not a charity.
I’ve bagged it up and I’ll do some research and see what I should do hehe

I would go charity over compost 😂 Maybe they have some interesting uses for it still. The doll thing would be very interesting to see, imagine that would be a ton of work but what a learning experience. You could make a d00k13 onelove doll and push it right here on the blockchain lmao dunno who would buy it other then me but hey it’s an idea!

Omg I saw a YouTube video of someone taking out the fake barbie hair and putting their real hair in it!! Looks doable but might take ages haha! I’ll have to go scout out the salvos for some barbies first haha..

Maybe you can find one that has suffered a brutal haircut, certain the doll will be appreciative of having real hair.... like Pinocchio becoming a real boy?
