Hello steemians,

It’s seven days already since I published Bania D-City proposed project to the steemit community and the responses that followed from everyone that love the idea was great and encouraging.

The community engagement and support on our announcement post became the third time D-City was seeing reality.

D-City has first seen reality in my mind, the day I conceived it. It became reality the second time when I gave the idea freedom to evolve, and despite the odds against its survival, I didn't abort it, but took a step and invested time to research, write and publish a compelling plan for it.

I believe Ideas see reality at first hand when their carriers choose to ignore all the many reasons why they might not work to find a single reason to stick to why they might work.

D-City saw reality for the third time when some steemians believe in it and show that through their engagement, advice, encouraging words and support that springs up from the post announcement.

Just one more time, and D-City will become a reality again.

My post today is more of an inspiration than an update, though a lot has been really going on behind the scene which will be made known to the community as we unleash them gradually.

Much of what I have seen in the last seven days makes me believe more that D-City is happening live very soon. Also, I did a video to introduce our new initiative that we tagged DOP.

Idea Sex and Reproduction

I used the concept of idea sex to perfect the idea of D-City and it became something worthwhile. At least to me. Most of the greatest innovations and inventions in our world today are product of idea sex, one minute and I will prove it.

I was introduced to the concept of idea sex by James Altucher who indirectly contributed more to the type of human I’m becoming.

Idea sex is simply bringing two different ideas together to meet and mate at a point in order for them to reproduce one great idea.

Just like when human, animals and plants meet and mate usually at a sexual point to reproduce another great offspring. Ideas just like these living things have live, spam, some are females with eggs, thus they got the ability to produce and reproduce.

But the difference here is that; ideas don’t sex on their own. Maybe they masturbate, that I don’t know :).

Humans conceive ideas like we would conceive a baby, and we have the ability to bring two or more different ideas to meet and mate at a point in order to reproduce one great idea.

I consider Steemit and Steem as one of the revolutionary invention of our time and my best example of idea sex at the moment.

Blockchain + social media + blogging + reward = steemit.

The guys who conceived and birth what we considered as a game changing platform today (steemit) allowed foursome of ideas sex and believe me, the produce was awesome.

How Many Ideas Mate in D-City Case?

The day I will tell my story of how I really conceived D-City idea is coming, but for now, here’s the idea sex mathematics that went behind the scene.

CLT + Blockchain + Cryptocurrency + Smart City = D-City

If you look critically, all four ideas are far different and ordinarily they are no match, but idea sex makes them meet and mate to reproduce one great idea.

Why You Should Use Idea Sex In Your Business

With the coming release of SMTs and the EOS platform, I believe, a lot of entrepreneurs and programmers would want to build projects and businesses on these two platforms, my advice for you is to find a way to bring two or more ideas together to form one great idea, in other words, let your idea sex each other.

Blockchain is already one idea, which simply means decentralization. Any other business or project idea you might want to build on the blockchain is another idea, you could just find one more idea with both and you might end up having one great idea (not guarantee though).

The Power Of Idea Sex?

There are two things that interest me about idea sex;

1. You don’t have to be the original owner of both ideas or all the ideas you are bringing together, but you will become the original owner of the reproduced idea.

2. You don’t have to be the best at the two ideas, or all the ideas you are bringing together, but you will become the best at the intersection where all the ideas are meeting and mating.

Steemit is not the best platform when it comes to social media (facebook, instagram, twitter are), steemit is not the best platform when it comes to blogging (medium, wordpress and blogger are)
Steem is not the best blockchain platform (there are serious competitions) but you know what?

Steem is the best combining those ideas together to form one great idea - STEEMIT.

So I might not the best in designing smart cities because, my smart cities might not have enough internet of things technology and sensor and data tracking techs

I might not be the best in urban design and CLT building products because I still live in a concrete house and don’t know what it feels like to live in a CLT building

D-City cryptocurrency might not have much potential as bitcoin, ethereum, dash and all of the rest currrently making waves, but one thing is sure which is; my idea is the best in D-City.

Anytime you want to talk about decentralized cities, you will be mistaken not to mention D-City, which I believe will become the first of its kind and will be live soon.
