Spider Coccoon

in #drawing6 years ago (edited)

There was once a spidery contents here but a spider has now put them inside coccoons.... Like Shelob did with Frodo Baggins~ Or maybe like those fleshy things in Aliens before the chestburster bursts out of them~ Yep, like one of those things :D

Sort:

This totally reminds me of robotech and battletech. Style is similar and it pulled a grin.
Keep it up :)

thank u ! i shall try !!!

Your drawing is really good, I love sci-fi too and you created wonderful pilot :)

thanks very much :3 very kind of you~

This is very cool.

Thank you, Donna :D

With this detail level, I sure can imagine it's a lot of work. Great drawing, @veryspider. The work was worth it, all the details makes it feel very real. I love her expression and posture, too. She looks in control.

Thank you, @fictionspawn :> The detailing took forever but I guess they are also the very stuff that makes the picture.... hahaha.... my poor eyes

Thank you for kind comments, as always <3

This is really good! I like all the detailed panels! You went above and beyond with the layout/control diversity... well thought out... Impressed :)

I just got started with digital sketching, kind of strange to start with that before doing a lot of traditional media, but that's what I'm doing. It's been a lot of fun! I'm a Helpienaut so hit me up on discord sometime.

thanks thanks :> i enjoyed making the panels.... in the painful ways XD

i just hit u up at helpienaut~

Whoohoo this is awesome, Spider! She looks like she’s seriously concentrating at her job and not being a Homer XD. I like her jumpsuit, it gives me the vibe of the retro future style ^_^.

Thanks, scrawler :D I love the retro future style also :D I think I might get a ruler so I can do more scifi stuff....

....and not being a homer is a great standard to aspire to XD

Get a ruler. Do more sci-fi stuff :}.

It's wonderful illustration, Spidey! ^.^ <3 <3<3
I'm even more fascinated that you draw it 'straight with MICRON ink pen'... wow! XD And so many details... O.O
Battle Angel Alita is the very first anime I came across (maybe at the age of 5-6). That anime (the second one was Ghost in the Shell) determined my future as an artist and my love for art and anime... ^^ I haven't read the manga yet, but maybe I should. ^.^

Thank you Katalina <3 Yes, I jumped straight in and almost regretted doing it cuz so many details and my eyes are really getting super tired for concentrating on not making mistakes XD;;;;;;

You should totally read the manga if you can get your hands on them :D I'd recommend the original series. There is a continuation series now, called Battle Angel Alita Last Order, but my favourite is the original one. The current art style of the mangaka is a bit different and not as pretty as it was in the old series :O

This looks awesome! And so detailed, you must have a lot of patience. Did it take long?
The operator looks so concentrated though :D

yes it took a long time and my eyes and hands were very tired because of this piccar . __ .

thank u~

Ouch! Well, your effort really paid out 😉

I love scifi too but probably wouldn't draw too much of it because the amount of detail in consoles and cables can get infuriating XD (it is tonnes of fun and looks great when you're done but somewhere in the middle I'm always full of regret XD)

This person really knows what they're doing manipulating all that stuff without even looking :O

goatsig

yayayaya, the detailing work was kinda tedious.... x __ x but i guess they were also kinda therapeutic? like, zen~ yayayaya the middle part is the worst.... cuz u r stuck and having to finish and still there's loads to do zzzzzzzz

she's probably knew the consoles like the back of her hand~ or maybe she's just like, ionno what im doing so might as well look cool~

XD;;;;;;;

i never trust a ruler

what did rulers ever do to u, klumklum~

:D
