Welcome to #SublimeSunday , a tag presenting you with the unique opportunity to post something a bit different, wacky, crazy or just whatever takes your fancy and instigated by me @c0ff33a ☕️

First up though is a #beautifulsunday (hosted by @ace108) photo with a #funkyedit (hosted by @krazypoet) with Saturation to the Max.

It has been a funny week with sunshine and showers, what we expect in April not June!

IMG_1036.jpg

With a break in the showers a took a walk along a bridleway, a little piece of countryside between industrial buildings either side.

IMG_1038.jpg

You could think this is tens of miles from civilisation but in fact this is just a few minutes walk from the shops and industrial buildings.

IMG_1040.jpg

This is some weird sort of temporal shift in the sky.

IMG_1041.jpg

Sunny one minute, overcast the next.

IMG_1042.jpg

Not so much in the way of flowers today though.

IMG_1043.jpg

This is a mysterious dip in the ground, although it's not so easy to see in the photograph.

IMG_1044.jpg

I think these yellow flowers are buttercups, the only flower but plenty of them.

IMG_1045.jpg

Enchanted steps to who knows where.

IMG_1046.jpg

It goes on and on this pathway.

IMG_1052.jpg

A buttercup up close.

IMG_1053.jpg

And a mossy wall surrounded by ferns, a little bit of countryside hiding in between the concrete jungle.

#funkyedits to finish, Blackpool Tower lit up at night.

The greatest challenge we face on Steemit is getting our posts seen, I have always believed the simplest and best value way of doing this is by commenting on the blog posts of others, the more you engage people and interact with them the greater the chance they will visit your own blog and return the favour. Other then spending all my free time commenting on Steemit posts, I also distribute coffee roasting machines and also espresso coffee machines and roast my own Speciality Coffee Range. being one of the premium coffee suppliers Yorkshire including a wide range of filter coffee sachets

Those are definitely buttercups. At least that is what we call it in Canada. They are very abundant here too. Lots of lovely green over up here and love the #funkyedit:)

Thank you very much, good I’m pleased I know the name of one flower at least! 43 years of learning not wasted then. Blackpool tower is really cool but I’m still not climbing to the top!!

You got blog about it:) LOL

I'm also getting some of these shifting skies lately and it also just rained.
At least, you still manage to get out a little bit.

It’s lovely when then showers pass, the problem is when you get too far from cover and then heavens open and you have to endure a good soaking!

Thankfully, usually there's shelter nearby for me but you can still get caught unexpectedly wet.

Absolutely beautiful walk! It looks a lot like my part of the world. Those are definitely buttercups. I have waged a war against them, as pretty as they are. They give the goats ulcers in their mouths and throats if they eat them. Too bad they're so prolific!

Oh the buttercups are everywhere right now, I never realised they were bad for animals - they are super prolific so the must be quite a problem. I remember from school days making daisy chains - using your nail to split the stem and then thread the next one through. Oh and if you hold one under your chin and the skin glows yellow you like butter - or something like that lol.

Hahahaha! I had forgotten about the holding them under your chin thing! We used to do that too!

Life is beautiful when you have sublime sundays around :D

Thank you very much

What a great Sunday post :D I do like the fact of the area of forest? betwine 2 industrial sections, its looking huuuge LOL You caught the weather changes well to; super post for my morning coffee ;) :D
And thanks so much for the resteem :D

Thank you very much, yes it is very much like a forest - but to the left there is a big hill - so you can’t see but only maybe half a mile that way there is a massive supermarket I parked in and then houses. To the right through the trees you could actually see the industrial units and road. It is a narrow green corridor quite amazing.

I’m always happy to resteem great content, @saffisara is always telling me how good your posts are but I am so busy at the moment it is really difficult to keep up.

Posted using Partiko iOS

Its my pleasure :D yeah and by the looks of it, nature is content there to. Im saying that as, often when getting mixed into 'city-life' animals/green stuffies dont survive that well... :(
ha ha love the fact of parking next to the supermarket LOL :P
did i miss that?? crap, now i muuust go and look at your pix again LOL ;)

Again thanks :D ha ha my sugarpumkin @saffisara :D !!! you should have taken me up when i offered to join thealliance but i wasent 'good enuff' ;) LOL
Sara talks warmly about you :)
I get that & thanks for taking your time :D

Lush greenery everywhere is not something we see here in the high desert. I could feel the lushness from childhood memories in Kansas.

I’m sorry you don’t have the lush greenery we have, but then it must be warmer and drier with you! Hopefully my pictures give you a little slice of northern England to enjoy.

Posted using Partiko iOS

I think that's why I gravitate to photos like yours. You show a lot of beautiful parks you and your son visit.

Just swinging by to let you know @steemimages gave you a 100% upvote and resteem. Well done.

Your walk was interesting with that weird dip? and that close up buttercup was super pretty.
The weather is up and down like a yoyo. We had a BBQ today and just as it was ready the heavens opened. Umbrellas up and carry on lol

Thank you very much, I’m glad you enjoyed my pictures including the mystery buttercup. I can’t do a BBQ unless I’m sure it’s going to stay clear and dry all night - mainly because I have no cover to hide under if the rain starts!

Posted using Partiko iOS

Haha, so I guess you never have a BBQ then?.

I can’t do a BBQ unless I’m sure it’s going to stay clear and dry all night

Always advisable to have an umbrella handy in England. :-)

Nothing to say, just amazing all captures. It is really very beautiful nature with beautiful photography. Thanks for share some great shots.

Thank you very much I’m pleased you enjoyed my photos!

Oh wow!!!! That photo with the hole in the clouds!!! That is exquisite! What a fabulous shot you got to take there!!!

It’s not a hole it’s a temporal flux, I think Scottie caused it when he was trying to beam me up to the Enterprise 🤗
