Does Portion Control Help You Get Healthy and Lose Weight?

You know how they show you those little plates of food all divided up and in all the right sizes of food? We're not going to do that.

We are going to:

  • Reduce the toxins and empty calories in your food - 10% at a time.
  • Increase the nutrition in your food - 10% at a time.

As you work through the changes that will improve your current food, your body will respond with new vigor and health. After a few weeks and months of making small changes to your daily meals:

  • Your bodily functions will start performing as they should
  • You will have more energy
  • You will be sleeping better
  • You will be optimistic

And as far as portion sizes - they will take care of themselves for the most part. At a more advanced time, we will get some knowledge going on portion sizes, but for now:

  • Eat less crap.
  • Eat more nutrition.

My goal for you is to have each meal you eat be full of nutritious variety you enjoy eating. We are never going to count calories.

We are going to strive for you to get the the 31 essential nutrients into your life. Trust me - they are not there now.

At the same time, we are going to strive for you to reduce the chemical onslaught your poor body is facing now. Trust me - if your have not been paying attention, you are eating things like "endocrine disruptors" and hormones, and preservatives (you are not dead yet) in every bite of food you eat. Once you stop consuming these FDA approved nightmares, you will be astounded by your better health.

Thanks for sharing @fitinfunfood ... Actually I eat chicken and brown rice with salads.. I eat beef, lobster, fish and shrimp.

You must be rich to be able to get all that high quality protein lol. Brown rice is a great choice. Do you cook for yourself?

Are you generally healthy and at your good weight? Anything you want to change?

Well to be honest I'm healthy.. I just need to go the gym more often lolz... Sometimes I cook but my mom cook most of the time 😊

Look at my reply to @wakeupkitty below yours and see what you think.

I also have easy exercise on the @bxlphabet blog. You do not need to go to the gym. You can work out at home or anywhere. The idea of what I do is to not need to go anywhere to get what you need. I advise exercise daily - not a few times a week.

Great tip if you do eat crap but what if you do not? I do not drink, eat potato chips, french fries, Brea, pizza, fast food, candies, usesugar, drink no soda's, make most of my food myself so...

Since you are so much more advanced than most people I deal with @wakeupkitty:

  • find a "nutrition tracker" online and see how you are doing for the 31 essential nutrients. Basically - post 3-5 days of food into it. It's not a lifelong task. Just check it and then again in a few weeks and on and on.

See if you are getting enough of each nutrient and improve those you are not.

I know you have wifi issues:

  • can you see my list of the nutrients? I have it in a poster at the bottom of this reply. In a future post soon, I will list them in text anyway.
  • can you find a good online tracker in your country? If it only has 10 nutrients listed - go with it anyway for a start. but there are 31 of them - so you know.

The first goal is to get to 80% of the recommended daily allowance for most of the nutrients. The real goal for later is 120%+++ as you can do it.

Come back and tell me which ones are low and I will help you to improve those the best way possible.
