Hey Jon. This was amazing. It is a pity that I can not be there live or join the session by a cam. I would have had some questions too. But this Dtube session fired me up again and and in my next post, I'll pick up the call for engagement here on Steem Blockchain and not on the Discord and shout it out loud.

But I think my audience will not be that big. I only have a small number of followers. Anyway, some will read it. lol
everyone starts on steem with zero followers. building it comes from being steady and producing content plus engaging everyday :)

I would like to know how I can be more engaging with my comments and other interactions. It's been a while since my last DTube video because I have been busy with other things, but I do spend a lot of time here.
I agree with @nathanmars here in that too many people spend more time on discord. I shouldn't have to use discord in order to get my message out on Steem.
I also love @partiko too. I use it constantly.
A question to @nathanmars: Is there a deadline for family777 DTube intro videos?
I will see what I can do tonight (I have to edit a Mene gold unboxing video and I don't want to spam my feed).
Am not sure but the way to engagements in the comment section is by 'znap+' like model. Comments that seeks clarity on certain issues as well as complementary ones. This way, people(the author too) find their way (like I did) and try to interact with you more often. (my opinion)
On the deadline question, a yes maybe. For the Znap7 submission is on till the 17th Jan.

Nathan’s initiative is a clear example of why decentralization will be a strength over the long term as the community engages to add value to not only the projects on the blockchain but also the relationships that come together to form them. Considering the low barrier to entry we currently have, I don’t think it will take much for a great project to have substantial impact to the ecosystem in a relatively small period of time.

@jongolson, In my opinion, there is an very humanistic answer for Why Engagement Is Important? And that is, No harvest on Empty land. For example, many are putting lot of efforts to get on board more and more users, but are they ready for this new land or we can say new planet. Centralised platforms are consuming just time, but Steem needs both time and energy and energy because, here everyone or many wants to build something, something which is long term, that's why we call our blogs Product/Niche and not just a post.
At this point of time this whole Economy (Not only Steem), is covered with Unclarity but in my opinion sometimes we have to experience the unknown to bring out the known from unknown.
Why we are lacking engagement?
Without any doubt i can say that there are not many Active users and in my opinion we cannot consider the active user data numbers when it comes to organic human engagement because without human engagement matrix can can count under active users like BOTS. And next point is, most of the content one or other way surrounds Steem, means lack of diversified content, when particular individual go through with particular topic over and over they will exhaust. Dapps are there and they are putting there efforts but when it comes to direction, in my opinion we need to give more time because we are on the clear path but weather is unclear.
What is it? How things work? Expectation vs Reality? Right channel of implementation? are questions which are basic but base is foundation. And the biggest challenge is, when it comes to Crypto it is surrounded with lot of hype and whoever will join Steem Blockchain they will hold lot of expectation, so education is very important to spread the light on the subject that, it's not what our brain is cooking, here we have to put lot sometimes to push through from less. But i believe that this is Revolutionary and universe opened the new path for humanity and sometimes we have look into universal way too because what is in physical, at first it exists in spiritual form.
@nathanmars, All inputs are appreciated brother and most importantly, the base, every engagement should happen within Steem Blockchain.

Ohh there are lots of good news we can see here @dtube is devloping something dtalk and partiko is devloping a messanger like facebook messanger. And good point raised here is there are lots of people they have good SP and they just want to keep with them self they dont even want to VOTE their followers and i see a post where they are earning 25 to 30$ amount and they dont even have single comment on their post . How they do this?? Can you please let me know and sole this question of mine. OR it is a group of people who have good SP and they just upvote each other to earn money. Best part as dissed by nathenmars is no need to worry about price people will be back when they will see STEEM at again rais.

i think it’s a combination of reasons. but people are drawn to the potential of that big upvote from dtube or other dapps with high steem power.
i think nathan said it perfectly. it would be awesome to see the sizeable upvotes in the comments. i’ve been raising my upvote to peoples comments.
i used to make sure it was 2 cents. but now i bump it up to 3 or 4. problem is i need more steem power lololol to make the votes worth more for people.
