Day 55. 12/02/18. Spending time in the Emergency room
I spent most of the night in the emergency room. They are accessing the port in my chest so everyone wares a mask along with every precaution to prevent infection. By using the port they can draw blood ,put in an IV and many more things instead or tying to do it all through a small vein in the arm.
The reason for the emergency visit is that I was vomiting blood. So off we went. After a good 6 hours we were able to leave. Of course there was a battery of test to include X-ray.
The good news is that no sign of pneumonia. However there is some concern over the
WBC 2.2 Low
RBC. 3.18 Low
Platelet count 77 Low, Which is one reason the blood is not clotting
Plus other results not in range only good news is that
Total Bilirubin is 0.8 and that is great.👍

How is that for a head of hair. That is for sure not a fashion statement. Full head of hair gone . I should blur out the nipples but I am a supporter of free the Niple. 😂
I am super tired and can’t sleep again. It’s going on 4am. maybe Its just that I am so overtired. Eighter way we will deal with it. I have said from the beginning that this was going to be a long everyday fight. That only way to win is one day at a time and keep pushing forward everyday. There will be setbacks but they don’t matter because this is long term , like I said. One day here and there can’t stop forward progress.
Well it’s 5:30 and I tried to sleep. No luck so I will end this blog and post it.

I feel a little better today.
I have always said this was going to be a long term battle. So some set backs are to be expected. Hoping blood test comes out well today

The CT scan on fri will tell all. They have measurements of all the lesions on all the organs for comparison on the progress.
I hope i made some sense there. According to the blood test we have come a very long way in 57 days. Just need to keep going

You are the third person recently speaking about vomiting blood and this is not something I hear of otherwise. Effin scary that must be. I love that you choose to have a lighthearted attitude about it. It's tough to be lighthearted when you Just. Need. Sleep. It's so good you're looking forward to the upcoming holiday with all your loved ones.

It doesn’t make sense to get bent out of shape over things. I figure out the best approach and go for it.
This situation requires calmness.
I have to hit 90 days then 6 months. Everyday is a day closer
Blogging can be therapeutic when you can't sleep.

Blogging and interacting with everyone has give me strength a sense of purpose . I hope that it will help someone and give them the strength to also power through this affection.
