After sharing with you 🌱🍔🍟🌭 My first 100% Vegan Burger Fast Food at "la Trocadero" 🌭🍟🍔🌱 (Barcelona, Spain)! #26 yesterday, I share My wonderful Flexitarian dinner at "Flax&Kale" Tallers!

I am 30 years old and I am "multi intolerant" to gluten, glucose, lactose, baking powder, cocoa, caffeine, alcohol ... I can not eat much or not at all for some foods... Crazy life, right?! 😅

But, I will prove to you that it is possible to have food intolerances and to eat healthy and tasty things! I want to share with you my gastronomic discoveries and recipes compatible with a "special diet" or simply with a "normal diet" (amazing, no ?!). Even if you are not intolerant, taking care of your body and diet is necessary to make you feel good ... 😋

My wonderful Flexitarian dinner at "Flax&Kale" Tallers

The first time I went there, I found this flexitarian restaurant thanks to "Happy Cow". Now I have become one of the most loyal customers of the "Flax&Kale". It's definitely my favorite place in the city!

If you do not know yet the application "Happy Cow", I recommend it because it is a great help when traveling and looking for a vegan or vegetarian restaurant! In a few seconds, this application geolocates you and show you all vegan, vegetarian restaurants around you. There are the coordinates of the restaurant, the distance to where you are, schedules, photos ... Happy Cow is my best friend XD!

What does it mean "flexitarian"?

“Flexitarian” is a term recently coined to describe those who eat a mostly vegetarian diet but occasionally eat meat.

I find this option really interesting. What do you think about that my friends?

In my case, I can eat meat, eggs and fish. But for environmental reasons, I prefer to eat only animals and animal products raised outdoors or organic, occasionally.

Flax&Kale is an amazing flexitarian restaurant chain in Barcelona. This one is located in the Raval district in Barcelona. There is a large space on the ground floor, with an open kitchen. You can also see the fresh produce delivered every day.
The other two restaurants are located in Ciutat Vella and Passeig de Gràcia district.

"Flax & Kale Tallers is the first Healthy Flexitarian Restaurant in Barcelona. All the dishes are designed not only to maximize the organoleptic pleasure, but also considering their nutritional value. 80% of our offer is plant-based and the remaining 20% are recipes that contain oily fish.

I have no doubt about the correlation between good nutrition and good health without illness my friends.

That's why I share with you this healthy and tasty food in pictures. I went to dinner with my boyfriend last Sunday night.

This restaurant is the newest of the chain "Flax & kale", it is located in the street Sant Pere Més Alt, in the district Ciutat Vella and right next to the magnificent Palace of the Music! It's a really cute neighborhood! I love it for its architecture, cobbled streets and small shops.

All the "Falx&Kale" restaurants are classy, the service is perfect, fast and the prices are not excessive for the quality!

First, I ordered the "Korean chef lost in the pyrenées":, potato ‘trinxat’,
jerusalem artichoke, kimchi, oyster mushroom,
yellow pepper mousse, young coconut‘ cansalada’,
nori seaweed, asparagus. So yummy!

And my boyfriend ordened the"One bite crunchy yellowfin tacos, chinese cabbage, avocado, chipotle sauce". I love the presentation of this dish!

Then, I ordered the Pizza "Funghi&Truffle": truffle & funghi, coconut cream, wild herbs (pizza bianca). That's the best pizza gluten free that I've tested in my life! I've tried to do the same pizza at home me but it was missed...😅

You can see the pizzaiolo make your pizza under your eyes! It's nice right ?!?

And my boyfriend ordered the "Superfood’s pho soup, vegetable broth, jackfruit, young coconut ‘bacon’, reishi, king oyster mushroom
scallops, sriracha, sweet potatoes and rice noodles"

For the dessert we finished with a sweetness, we shared the "Plant-based Coulant": cacao, hazelnut and vanilla ice cream. I love desserts and this one is as beautiful as delicious!

In summary, "Flax&Kale" is the best place ever to eat healthy and yummy! Congratulations to Teresa Carles and her staff who do a really amazing job!
