Ahh a tie breaker..nothing new in the life of the @Kryptocek! Anyone have a KRYPTOCEK SHIELD I could take a photo of!
Anyways I'm a little disappointed I couldn't grab all the items. I'm on holidays with my family and just couldn't find a Mayan Calendar, and well lighting I was hoping I could catch since it would rain a bunch on Big Island but it's not looking like it and I got about 3 hours left!
Looking at it my opponent still hasn't made an entry so SHHHHH.... don't tell her ;)
Just jokes I hope she gets her entry in and maybe misses a few things like me as well! ;)
This one was of course easy theres Flowers everywhere on Big Island!
Had to walk outside for this one! We've come here two years in a row since it's a clients of my parents house and they let us stay for free. All I had to pay for was my own flight here..cant complain!
This was a little ways from our house, we were actually driving to see sea turtles get released on Independence day and we stumbled upon this mini cave!
Had to go looking for these as times been running out so we went into the city looking! Came across a few twin pillars!
This is right outside our house again! Not a huge fan of spiders but got the shot haha! I know we need spiders and they eat mosquitos and stuff I just find them creepy!
This was definitely fitting for this contest! There are turtles everywhere here and it finally dawned on me that DUHH a turtle has a shield on its back!
Found it at the local market! I truly didn't think I'd get this one!
Graffiti to me doesn't just have to be scribbling and tagging of stuff. There were a few cars with spray paint and writing over them but since I'm in Hawaii I decided to get a shot of this awesome street art that was done on the wall of this cool cafe!
BOOOO I couldn't find it! I wish I could but I simply couldn't find a MAYAN Calendar...I don't think they're as popular on these Islands!
and this shot was about 5 minutes ago! I remember seeing this Van a few days back. Thankfully the AC / DC copy cat was still there!
So I had a chat with @EagleSpirit spirit and she really told me to connect with nature and I tried my best while I was in Denmark but it was a little hard since we were living in the city.
Finally I got home about 3 weeks ago and I’ve had multiple trips to the mountains to connect and I don’t have one specific spot as a power spot but more a region or an area.
Which is the Kananaskis / Canmore area. There’s no place I feel more comfortable, relaxed, stress free then I do when I’m out in the mountains. No cellphone receptions most of the time.. no computer.. nothing besides fresh air beautiful views and usually some good company.
It’s honestly so good to be back and I truly didn’t know how much I missed it up until 3 weeks ago and how refreshed and honestly just makes me feel like I’m in my happy place! Here is my video I made for my power spot..
Great photos, @kryptocek - lightning, calendar and shield were challenging for me, too.

I do! I forgot the @IFC tag so it wont work! Bummer but that's my own fault!
Those three "lightning, calendar and shield" were not easy. For me the other real hard one was a cave. Have you got to watch the lava flows?
Yup they weren't easy for me neither but hey at least we sorta got them and it looks like you're moving on so congrats making it to the FINAL 8! Ahh I haven't theres a helicopter ride or boat ride but both cost 250$ USD..and with canadian exchange it's just to much for me. I wish I could but just not in my range at this point in my life!
I've talked to some people where they paid a farmer to take them on his land and they almost got arrested and the farmer got a fine haha so I don't think i'll be taking that route either lol
There is always a boat ride, I was on the big island about a hundred years ago it seems, and drove up to the volcano, no camera at the time, but did get to see some lava flow through a tube, it was pretty cool. If Bradshaw Army Airfield is still their find a soldier to take you up the mountain. they get bored, that's why they are in the bars. just say you'd like to see the top of hawaii. You can walk faster than most of the lava flows. Just hard to get close because it is hot.
oh wow thats awesome! Im wondering if that part is currently blocked off with the volcano in full affect! I want to check it out we're just on the other side of the island though... :(

I think we have very similar entries, I'm glad I don't have to judge them. Turtle definitely makes a good shield. Have a great vacation!
I also think are entries were almost the same! Thank you. Thats awesome that you you set up shop and watched the thunderstorm! I was really looking into catching some lightning too but the weather just never panned out!
That cave looks wonderful! And seeing baby turtles being released is something I plan to do for the first time soon! It will be around November here when it happens. 😁
And I think that violet thing beside the dreamcatchers is really eye-catching. Color is ❤️ but it's kinda scary. 😂

There's two places I know of that do the release. The one nearest to me is in Bataan. Woohoo! Can't wait for Nov. 😂
Was too late for the Feb batch since I only found out abt it late in March.

Omg if me and my girlfriend ever come to the Philippines can we come visit!?
Take pictures id love to see it! They only did 5 turtles where we went and was a little difficult to see but was very cool!
Well maybe we can go there together with your gf?
The house is always a mess hahaha. You both might get allergic or something. Wouldn't want that on me. 😅
It's about 4 hrs away but they have cottages so people can stay overnight (or more) and see the hatchlings in case there are ones that come out. (Other resorts are around the area too.) Usually the season it happens is Feb and Nov.
