What Do You Want Your Life To Mean?

in #life7 years ago (edited)

First of all Don’t Confuse Dreams and Goals

Dreams are something you are just thinking about,You have act upon those thoughts otherwise they would still meaningless "Dreams can inspire you, but goals can change your life."

we all have dreams but these dreams by themselves mean nothing they're just dreams they don't produce results or influence our lives. we need to turn our dreams into goals and organize them into a plan to clear our vision and turn our goals into action because dreams just take place in our minds but goals affect our reality.dreams are imaginary, endless and free on the other hand goals based on reality, have a cost and have deadlines so if you want something go get it. don't wait for it to be given to you. no one will bring it for you if you didn't ask for it. Some people tend to dream about something forever that's truly pathetic

Am always wondering why many of us don't follow their dreams! don't believe that they capable of doing incredible things!! they always looking for excuses and surely they found many. if they look for chances and ways they 'll find many opportunities waiting for the right ones. You'll see what you're focusing on. If you only dream to get rich then there is no purpose and no value to your dream.

Our lifetime goals shouldn't be materialistic and dependent on things

Do you remember "Christopher " from the movie "into the wild" he was young intelligent man who has everything going for him. he has graduated and the bright future a head of him he did something totally unexpected. he escaped from this awful world  he get rid of everything he owned. his dream of being free in the wild  Christopher was not comfortable following the usual terrible life system includes a stable career and a family life. he did what most of didn't do. we see many of people just dream about getting a job or married a beautiful girl. They live in a box where no adventures no challenges they exit life and nobody even heard about them as if they wouldn't exist. They're nothing but a number on an ID and then they give birth so they add some numbers and that's it They did nothing more in their lifetime.

If we go through our lives without purpose then where we going!! what is the value of our lives? what is the moral beyond life? Why many billionaires commit suicide! If it's all about things and money and we found people who had all these things and want to die!!

here's the point many people don't realize that until they have shitload of money then they start to recognize those things that money couldn't buy , they tend to think "what a fool am I used to be" , there are lots of precious things in our lives that money can't even deal with am not going to mention them.

Is it a human fallacy to live inside a box!! why we limit ourselves too much?

Thanks for your support. Highly appreciated

Real talk. Life is most meaningful the momment you have acquired more wealth you are unwilling to exchange for money than the wealth you would.

that's it, you got my point @rootss thank's for stopping by my post

It comes right back to your daily habits and taking action. What have you done today, that's changed? How have you tweaked or fine tuned your actions to produce something differently today? Does that move your thoughts from a dream state to a goal state?

that's exactly what I mean @rebeccaryan .have a fantastic day.

Excellent post @mostafa1!

This reminds me a bit of the old saying "The best things in life are not THINGS."

The "box" we live in-- we have been taught that success is equal to how many things we have; our house, our cars, our fancy watches... that is living in the box. I hear those who defend the system say things like "I'd much rather sit in a Rolls Royce crying that an old wreck that barely drives!"

They miss the point completely... that they are needing to sit in their car and cry about their life...

The bigger question becomes "What do you want your live to MEAN?"

I couldn't agree more @denmarkguy . Thr question should be exactly as you mentioned .thanks for reading and comment thats mean too much to me. Have a great day

Hi @mostafa1!
As promised I had a look at your blog on my holiday and here's my feedback for you:

First of all, for being on steemit for only one month you're doing pretty well. I've been analyzing blogs of people who joined the platform more than half a year ago and who don't earn even 10% of your rewards.

So you're definitely on the right track.
One thing you might improve is the following: consider that the attention span of people in social media is very low. That's why you need to prepare the information in your blog as clear and precise as possible. So if I were you I'd shorten the paragraphs in your articles and I'd furthermore use cross headings. Just have a look at my articles: I use different font sizes to put the more important information to the front and leave details in the back.
Like that people who don't have the time to read the whole article can just fly over it and get an idea of it anyways.

Then: the tagging. If you use tags like #life you need to know that you will be competing with the top earners in the network. It's a highly competitive field. So if I were you I'd rather choose tags that are less competitive.

Very important advice: don't write about steemit :-) I know it's tempting to talk about the network, but on Facebook people don't write about Facebook either. Plus: don't tag other users with the intention that they might upvote your article then. Especially whales don't like that at all :-) So this one here should be an exception: https://steemit.com/waronspam/@mostafa1/the-war-on-spam-challenge-how-i-turned-out-from-a-spamming-person-to-an-active-user-my-humble-story

Try to be a community member without being spammy. If you behave like in real life, everything will be fine. But don't bother people, don't ask them to upvote, resteem follow or whatever. They will follow you if you produce content that inspires them.

Last but not least, you still haven't produced much content here, so try to be patient. It took me 6 months (six!) to start earning real money on steemit, so that's my perspective :-)

I hope you consider this somehow helpful...:-)
See you around and have a good day!

Thanks @surfermarly I 'll take care of what you said.

We are so focused on materialistic goods that we forget our true purpose...
