MarketFriday - initiated by @dswigle - Day - Night Market Food and Clothing Festival !!

Hi everyone here we are back for another #marketfriday initiated by the lovely @dswigle and it's Friday again and this Friday i will be presenting to you the weekend day and night food and clothing festival. There are so many markets and market festivals in Bangkok and around the whole of Thailand that i will never run out of bringing you a different one each time.

This particular market set up i have not shown you here before they are called festival weekend markets it's a huge organized market by all the different province around Thailand they bring to you there different cultures of foods , clothing , ornaments and more interesting items.

The Buddha shrines and all the protective guardians can also be bought at these markets all representing some sort of luck and fortune.

Normally these festival are huge so they are set up in big parks around Bangkok and each weekend it is set up at a different park it is most convenient to set up these weekend markets in these parks the reasons been there is lots of room for people to move around and can sit by the lakes eat and relax while there is also some entertainment going on just perfect.

What i enjoy most at these festivals is the food of course i love trying all the different foods from the South , East , West and Northern foods you will find it all at these weekend market festivals and always come on a empty stomach because there is no shortage of foods , fruits or desserts.

All types of fish avaible fried , barbecue or marinated if you want to take home and cook yourself.

Chicken , pork or beef dumplings ....yummy.

Even a fresh fruit and veggie store.

Freshly squeezed juices of all kinds.

Clothing store of all sorts of traditional costumes from all the different provinces also jewelry and ladies handbags.

It was getting near dinner time and the sun had gone it was now evening i had been here for a good part of 4 hours already from late afternoon and my belly was rambling and my mouth watering up with the smell of ingredients from all the cooking that was going on around me.

I feast my eyes on something easy and not to messy to eat so i decided on a seafood Phad Thai scrambled up with eggs and noodles a all time favorite amongst Thai's and foreigners and the busiest store of course.

This was the preparation center how colorful all that was needed for all the type of Thai dishes.

There were food stores as far as your eye could see so much to sample but the belly could only take so much unfortunately.

Well that seafood Phad Thai was absolutely superb now i spotted some awesome sweet looking strawberries i need myself to get some of those....ohhhhhh....yeah...yummy....look at these juices strawberries.

There is one thing that Thai's absolutely love and that is pickled fruits with a sour taste and chili mixed in and that is with most fruits like mangoes , grapes , little apples and many more Thai fruits.

Honestly this festival had no ending when you think you had seen it all you run into more fancy stores here they where selling art work more jewelry and ladies handbags of higher quality and of course more foods.

And i found this little section pretty cool the way it was set up with cut down 44 gallon drums made into chairs and tables the Ecolife bar were you could relax have a feed and a beer and listen to the live band.

And it was here that i sat down after 6 hours of walking sampling all the foods and fruits it was time for a cool beer before i headed home what a awesome day it has been.
