Stop The Lambo Madness!!
Lambos...Everyone wants a Lambo!
I see people throwing around "When Moon?" "When Lambo?" all over steemit, reddit, youtube, dtube... But what the hell is wrong with you?!
I'm going to be honest with you and give it to you straight... Hopefully, you can take my punches and give some back in the form of reply because I'm always glad to learn if my opinion is wrong...
Let's see... you spend your whole life being a slave to a 9-5 job... Wait... Some got it even worse! 9-5 is something of the past. Some people are slaves to 9-10 jobs! Yeah, I know some that work that hard, and in my profession, I sometimes need to spend the whole night working...
So... a slave to a 9-10 job. Being pushed over the edge day after day, descenting into madness slowly, and as soon as you got money you go buy something that loses all its value as soon as it gets out of the truck?
Yes, that is right! As soon as your pink Lambo with a unicorn tattoed on his hood gets out of the truck it loses 20% of his value. What this means is that your 200.000$ Lambo, if you go for one of the cheapest ones, which you probably won't, will lose 40.000$ in value! All for what?
You are going to lose 40.000$ just to flex your money to the neighbors!? You will lose 40k for the sheer pleasure of people seeing you in your Lambo!? Are you that superficial?
Look, I understand wanting to have a Lambo... I really do! I also want one... Well, I would go for the Tesla Roadster because Elon Musk, but regardless of that. I understand wanting to have a good car, a fast car, I love cars! But is that really the first thing you want to do with your money? Buying something that loses a lot of its value the moment you touch it?
What after it? What if something goes wrong? What if, after those 200k you don't make more money through the crypto market?! Shouldn't you aim for something else? Yes! You should...
Financial Freedom!
Financial Freedom! The best thing someone can do with their money! Having Financial Freedom makes one finally free! Because we aren't free the day we are born, that is a lie told to us!
We were born slaves to the money! To the greed of big corps! And the only way to escape from this enslavement is either financial freedom or not caring about money... But guys, if you don't care about money you will probably only be free for a couple of weeks before dying of starvation or dehydration... The world runs on money...
But what is financial freedom?
Financial freedom means you can maintain your desired lifestyle without a regular paycheck... so no more enslavement! You would be free for the shackles of the big corporations and the government!
What this all comes down to is assets vs liabilities!
What is an asset?
Something that is valuable and can produce wealth! Something like dividend stocks! Something like a house that you put up for rent! Something like cryptos... especially the ones that get you more cryptos like VeChain, NEO, Ark, Stellar or running a node like SmartCash or PIVX!
Here is my go-to website for nodes, it has the ROI, the cost of the node, everything you might want to know... Just remember that they aren't all good investments, always do your own research! Right now I'm aiming for a SmartCash Node AKA SmartNode!
These are all assets! These are some of the things you can buy that generate wealth while you have your fatass on the couch!
What about liabilities?
Something that does the opposite of assets! Something that takes wealth away! Something that makes your account go down and doesn't provide any benefit to it... Debt and loans for example!
Being in debt or getting money loaned makes it so, you, not only will have to pay the amount you owe, but you will also have to pay interest...
So, because of your dirty greed, you will lose money, instead of waiting to buy something you would rather go into debt and give more money to a bank?!
A Lambo is a liability, you pay 200k and you lose 40k as soon as the car touches the ground. After it, you need to pay for tires, for gas, for any broken little thing that comes with using the car... Is it fun?! Hell yeah! Is it fun to your bank account!? No...
Now, the bad part of this is that the "fun" stuff of being alive are mostly liabilities... But calm down, I'm not telling you guys to live like monks!
First thing I should say is that even some liabilities like cars and planes can be made into assets if the proper steps are met... you can Uber your Lambo and it would provide an extra source of income! Even something like buying a house can be made into a nice asset through renting! Buying a phone? Nowadays you can mine with your phone, or maybe run a node with your phone!
The second thing is buying an asset before buying a liability! Doesn't it make sense?
Before buying a 200k car you buy assets that give you... 20k-40k each year! The car will be paid after 5-10 years! After those years the asset is still giving you money, so you can buy a new better model and sell the old one! Or maybe buy more assets! Get that Asset Snowball rolling!
The third thing I should say is that some assets can pay for themselves even if you go into debt! If you get a loan to buy a house you can rent the house and make the house pay for itself!
Now, depending on how fast you want to make the house pay for itself you can remove a % of the rent to your own account (bank or crypto) or you can not take any rent and pay for the house a lot faster! So, basically, you are making the people renting the house pay for the house without them even realizing...
When the house is paid all that comes out of it is extra wealth! Extra revenue! Extra passive income! EXTRA FREEDOM!
So, all in all, don't buy a Lambo straight away. First, aim for your freedom, after it you can aim for the Lambo! Because being alive should be about freedom!

As for assets, i bought TRX mainly because of the hype. and i have NEO, EOS, LINK, APOLLO. I'd like to know yours too. :-D
EOS, Stellar, Vechain, got in TRX and NEO but sold them for VeChain, TRX i really don't know... NEO is solid and a good asset, i'll buy some again when I have the money for it...
I sold NEO for VeChain because VeChain has SOOO many partnerships and SOO many big investors that the project looks almost 100% bullet proof, even the toxic community of reddit thinks so...
Oh, and STEEM can be considered an asset too! Proof of stake and proof of brain, by getting $ from your posts :)
Vechain was sounded on almost every crypto-related site recently. I will look into the token and hopefully get some of it. You should totally check out Apollo. they're trying to get listed on kucoin exchange soon.
My problem with apollo:
I like to invest in projects with good partnerships and also that are "established", apollo is too early for me, has an investor, to invest in.... for that reason "I'm out" xD
Vechain is really cool, partnerships with the biggest companies in the world like PwC and DNV GL, atm i'm looking at monoeci and smartcash for masternodes, thinking of grabbing one of each, just to diversify... they are both risky investments imo... especially monoeci, still need to look into it a lot more, but first! I want 1000 VeChain!

I think the Lambo thingy is mostly used as a term though. maybe just to sum-up the good life ahead. There might only be a handful of ignorant people that would buy a Lamborghini immediately their asset moons. sure way to stay broke. lol.

You should go and check out some youtubers... as soon as cryptos went to the moon they got a lambo... but yes, lambo is a term they use to sum-up the good life, but if you go and ask them, that good life they crave for is full of liabilities and no assets...

Me too... I always enjoy reading those people that won the lottery and spent it all until they were broke... people don't value their time or money, they only value materials that they can "flex" to other people, like expensive cars, expensive cell phones (who buys an Iphone when an android is much cheaper and far better?) , expensive houses...
I think people need an eye opener like you did to put less value on materialistic things, I value my health much more than any lambo, and being Financial Free would provide a great boost to my long-term health!

I see my father with almost 60 still working, sometimes working the whole night and still has 10 more years to go... he shouldn't be working, he should be at home, without stress, just relaxing so that his health stays as "top notch" as it can!

Well, that would be a good deal to buy one and sell one later, the thing is, how much does one of those rare one's costs? It must be really expensive! Would love to get some numbers on that whole deal... is it profitable? Even with taxes... how much does one get from flipping them like that
Good stuff, man. I'm right there with you. I would much rather drive a $10,000 car that I own than have a $250,000 car that I lease or own. I would rather be free than have flashy stuff. It's nice to see someone else writing about it too though because in crypto world, it really is all about the Lambo.
Being free of the stresses of life is one of the things i'm trying and will achieve! Stress is the main cause of early aging, i don't want to age... i want to go peter pan all the way and be a young boy forever xD a 24 year old young boy alrdy but screw that, i'm still a young boy :P
