A Beach BBQ At Sunset
Local Sunset
Sundays used to be goldenhour photography day and, since I'm pushed for time (think accounts preparation for financial Advisor) I'm going to post a sunset photograph anyway.
This one is from the beach at the end of my road looking along the coast towards Worthing.
I especially like the two hardy souls who are on the beach in order to enjoy a BBQ.
As you can see, they are wearing rather a lot of clothes!
You gotta love us hardy Brits. 😂

Pretty clouds out there. It looks calm enough for dinner at the beach. It would be nice to have one of those charcoal grills down there for cooking and warming one's backside with.
Here in Minnesota, we have pretty harsh winters. My parents have a gas grill outside and will still use it, even when the temperatures hit -20 ºF (about -29 ºC).
I've often thought that @fotosdenada but we're a bit behind with such things. It's only in the last coupleof years that the council has provided bins for people to throw away their disposable bbqs.
The first ones they provided were plastic! Duh!!! 😱
Our local council is not the brightest spark in the box.
Now that's really impressive @fotosdenada. Do they actually stand outside and eat outside or just doing the cooking there?
Beautiful photo @gillianpearce! I believe in bbq's on the beach only if it's hot enough to wear shorts or a swim suit :) You Brits are a hearty bunch :)
Well some of us are at least. I'm with you. If I'm having a BBQ on the beach I like the evening to be warm. Although the blankets might come out when the sun goes down and we're having too much of a good time to go home. 😁

There's nothing like stepping out of your door and seeing the sea.
the only thing to beat it would be to be able to hear and see the waves from the house itself. Now that would be a dream come true! 😊

I love the beach !.... .but not in the cold. I'm a weenie that way.....LOL !!
I'm with you @jacey.boldart. I don't like the cold in any situation. Add some wind from the sea and you definitely wouldn't see me hanging around. 😁
A beautiful sky! I'm not feeling nearly hardy enough for the coming season! They are tougher than I am!
Me neither @melinda010100. It's not only feeling cold having a BBQ in the dark like that, it's the fact your food would get cold really quickly that puts me off! 😁

No problems on our local beach melinda010100. It's pretty much all pebbles. just need to make sure you've got a padded each mat too. 😊
Oh, nice! Everything around here is sand but I really learned to appreciate rocky beaches when I was in Greece.
Yeah. I prefer pebbles myself @melinda010100 but this year there were a few pockets of sand just big enough the grandchildren to play in so that worked well. 😁
