High Score at nTopaz.
I am spending a lot of time talking with artists through comments and messages and what i realized is that very few know the inside score system of the platform. This came as no shock to me (actually i was expecting it) because i did not even knew about it when i was posting my artworks. I was logging to the platform, post my artwork and everything else at Steemit.
This is the wrongest way to go with nTopaz if you want to build a descent career as artist. The score system is the most important tool and everyone must know it and use it to their benefit. To make things more clear, nTopaz has a daily curation cycle, starting and ending at 12 noon Korean ST. Every artwork voted and commented at ntopaz platform (not at steemit, not at busy, not at patrico etc) gets a score of points and at the end of the cycle the sum of the points give the place at the Top10 and the ntopaz vote. You can check the daily Top10 to get an idea about how many points needed to get a nice score.
So if you are either a new or an established artist it is important to urge your fans to show their support by using the platform to vote and comment you. Every user is a curator at nTopaz and should exercise is judgment to help bring the beat quality artwork to the Τop.
Yes, if you are sharing your art at nTopaz and wish to have it shared on the Top 10 post then you need to have some understanding of how the nTopaz score system works.

I always vote for @ntopaz people through steemit as I didn't know my vote was affected differently from here or there, good to know.
It is true that I did the same mistake also.. You should aways vote and comment through the platform in order to use it effectively 😊

Haven't heard of nTopaz before, but their votes are pretty substantial considering this depressed economy. Pretty good for artists, then!
Yes it is very supportive for artists, but it is open to all creative people. If you have some cool photos you could upload them through the platform:)

I found it cumbersome to use and had not posted much. Besides, my "kind of art" is not quote "....But ntopaz doesn't support works that give gloomy, gore, and macabre impression." as I was told on my last post.
As a artist and also a curator and gallerist, I am against censorship, be that my own or anyone else's art. If I want censorship, I'd post on Facebook!
I agree with you @thermoplastic, an artist should be free to create and show whatever likes. But as it seems ntopaz has a very strict policy about dark art and i am going with the flow because i think that some hard working artists should be rewarded or else the rewards may fo go to people who do not deserve it.

Of course not. I know it is not you. I am very good (personal) friends with siamcat who used to have a executive position on nTopaz. At that time, I was also a curator on there. She left to concentrate on WeKu. The other problem I found is that artists are vulnerable to a troll called jaguarforce who had been focusing particularly on nTopaz artists, several of which are my friends, and myself and Peter Gric stood up for them.
This is still going on, and there are still nTopaz artists disproportionately hounded.
