Ha ha, yeah I remember that :) The actor is generally so good at conveying that gawky teenage body awkwardness. The way he runs cracks me up every time.

In the past someone could've added a 50$ vote to this splendid write-up, but what do I know we are in trying times, the thing is I'm hoping those times will come again.
The truth is that obviously I've never heard of any of these movies but the way you described and narrated as well as reviewed them I definitely took interrest well-done wow
Truth is most of those big votes going to smaller authors of quality come from curie. After you've been on here for a certain amount of time curie stop voting you with their big votes, no matter the quality. That has always been the case as they're doing all they can to keep quality on the platform which means they have to prioritize their votes to newer steemians.
Long gone are the days when whales voted minnows/dolphins unless you're working for them on a project. Dan is the only whale I know of who does reward content for it's own sake.
I'm not moaning here, I'm just speaking the truth. I've always been that way, honest to my own detriment sometimes lol
It's basically the truth, sometimes we can talk about these issues because it's really important I think it's one of the reasons why many abandoned steem and not really the bear market in totality, the big votes of the past weren't coming anymore

Ha ha, me and my friend actually recreated that scene once with a printer in a derelict building that we worked at. I'm probably making myself sound like a nutter here, but it was reasonably benign. When I was in university my friend had a job in a car park during the week and he got me a job there at the weekend. The car park was owned by a property developer and was next to the old legal department building for Liverpool university. Anyway, we knew it was getting demolished when the company decided to sell the land so we used to explore the building and one day we found the old server room which had a bunch of equipment in it. After checking which bits and pieces were working and which weren't I reminded my friend of that scene in Office Space and we popped a bit of Ice Cube on his phone and went to town on a printer and a battered old monitor 😂
Ha ha, the joy of being an irresponsible student.

That sounds really cool. I hope that he filmed it. I love that scene as I was a geek at school but unfortunately there was no redemption like that back in the 80's. Not bitter though, us geeks have inherited the earth now lol

Yeah, I think multiple people recorded the dance performance because the dad was out of town on business! He was bummed to miss it in person, but at least his wife sent him the clip. I was totally awkward in school, as well. For a few years I often got mistaken as a boy. Ah well, I thankfully grew out of it alright as most of us do. 😜

Absolutely agree with what you say. I'm completely for freedom of expression, belief, faith... whatever it is as long as it isn't hurting anyone. But I feel like more religious people should watch life of Brian for exactly the reasons that it was first derided by the church.
It's not blasphemous and in fact has some really poignant insights in among the farce. Ha ha, but enough of that serious stuff..... mainly it is just fckn top notch satire...... He's not the messiah... he's a very naughty boy!

To be eligible for the contest, we ask you to write a Steemit blog post with your top 3 selections AND 50% of the liquid payout of the Steemit blog post is required to contribute to the prize pool.
That is a direct quote from the competition announcement. I'm not quibbling over 1 quarter of a posts payout, it really doesn't bother me either way, but the wording of that implies half of the SBD payout of the post. This will only equate to a quarter of the posts payout as you can choose to have your steem post payed it in two ways; 100% in steem power or 50/50 SBD/Steem power. In the second case the SBD is liquid steem, as I understand it, as it's moveable and spendable.
I just wanted to point this out in the wording for the next month's competition as it could cause confusion. Let me know what you guys think? As I said, I'm not quibbling and am happy to transfer 50% of the blogs payout, I just think the wording should be changed for next month. Or, if you do mean 50% of the SBD (liquid) payout that's fine also, but that would equate to only a quarter of the post payout.

So if you have set your post payouts to 50/50 (SP/SBD) then essentially, all the SBD the entry post earned should be sent to the @phctop3 for the entry fee.
We will be doing a reminder post today and will clarify what's needed to enter :)
