Photography was for the birds today!
Well spring must be here today I saw a Canadian goose and a Drake the pair swimming in the little lake hear locally. They look cute enough that I went ahead and took their pictures. These birds think there are fish in this lake too, LOL!

Ducks:
They were not happy that I was there taking their picture but I got nice pictures using the zoom.
There was also a red winged blackbird also called a Baltimore Oriole. I got a lousy picture of that bird, but they're so unusual I thought I would post it. We are having wind advisories right now so the bird was in moving rather quickly on the tip on the top of this tree which is why the pictures are not good. But I was so happy to see one and get any kind of picture, that I thought I'd post it anyway!
Baltimore Oriole:
It was a pleasant stop! I enjoyed the birds in spite of the Wind; and it was a good time to just stop for a while..
Kind of a small vacation, in what seems to be an overly complex life some times....

well well well..look who's tryin to get the Mr. Audoubon trophy. What, you didn't shoot any with your shotgun? what's your problem man?
Out of season, but I was tempted by the Baltimore Oriole, ROFLOL!
:)>
hahaha! that's more like it, that's what I thought!
Come up sometime, and we will shoot my black powder 20 ga shotgun. THAT is pure fun!
:)>
sir smithlabs! A 20 gauge black powder shotgun..that thing puts out a cloud of smoke?
A 12 foot diameter rolling cloud of inpenetrable white smoke, so you better not miss! I love the gun, is ia a hoot to shoot!
:)>
lol! that is crazy!
It is VERY accurate and hits hard, but it is a stove pipe! It will be a good hunting weapon, it will shoot gravel, so it is long term useful....I plan to use it with swan shot if I have to drop back to that level.

Good pictures!
Hi, I enjoyed taking these pictures, in spite of the wind! I was surprised to see so many different kinds of birds there!
I am sure they were not happy I was there, they were keeping an eye on me. They were beautiful to watch.

I had fun taking them. I plan to go back and see if I can get better pictures of that Baltimore Oriole. I think they are nesting in that tree....
