Change the way of your thinking !!

Hello everyone

Let's talk today about the words and their power to make the human mentality.

In life there's two types of person, the one that is always happy and optimistic
Even in bad moments, he sees only the good parts of everything.
Exemple if he loss his job he will tell you oh thanks god i have more time to find something better, or ameliorate my abilities....

The other type, is the one always tired of life, when you meet him in a bautiful day he will make it the worst of your week simply while talking with you.

This type will never encourage you to do something good, and always sees the worst parts of everything.

We all know these 2 types and we're one of them. To help you know which one is describing you . The first one is the type that will succeed in everything of his life from social, sentimenal and materialist parts. And the other one is the totale opposite.

If i ask you now which one you want to be friend with ?

Of course, you will chose the one who will always help you and give you good advices .


So, how can you be that type of person ?
Well you must reprogramme your brain.

Now i'm asking you to don't imagine an elephant dancing ballet

What do you see now ? Your are seeing an elephant dancing ballet .

Well that's normal, our brain take every word he listen out of his contest, as here he can't understand the negation.

Going from this point. the brain can judge if you are happy or not through what you are telling and listning.

Explanation :
if somoene tells you:

are you okey ?
And you say yes there's no problem !!

Well here the brain heard just the word problem so he will say oh men we have problems .

To solve that and reprogram yourself, You have to choose only the good words to say and recorrect others when they puch you to think sceptically .

Exemple of somoene talking to you :

You're such an idiot you did it all wrong
In this case you can reccorect them by saying
You mean i didn't do it right, and i have to work harder next time.

If you notice, it's the same message but the second sentence is optimistic .

The same thing with children. Never tell a child that he will be a loser.

tell him for exemple : you are not doing enough effort to succeed.

And don't remember that we don't critisize a person for what she is but we criticize her actions.

To conclude, for the few future weeks, try to change the words you're using while keeping in mind the optimise while talking . And protect yourself by repeating what other's tell you in the optimistic type.

It's more important to give good advices then just blame people.

Great lesson!
My husband hates the snow here in Wyoming. I'm like "you've lived here most of your life!" My attitude is to learn to deal with it - how you dress, how you drive, how you prepare for the long winter we have. i love the snow, myself! Maybe it's because I learned how to deal with it when I was a young adult living in a snowy climate for the first time.

I do argue with one of your points though... Telling someone that:

you are not doing enough effort to succeed.

Success isn't always about effort. There is often a very large degree of luck - being in the right place at the right time. (Not having an illness/injury either.) Rather, the person should always strive to improve themselves and how they handle their situation. That strengthens their resilience as well as their motivation.

The ability to make the best of a bad situation is just as important as the ability to create a good situation.

Well, I try to be positive but sometimes people can really get on my nerves. When someone insists on harassing you about the same thing over and over again, it makes it more difficult to be positive.

Well, that's true but if it was easy we would have a fairy world where everyone is happy and successful.
But you can always try to erase the word difficult for exemple you could say it's not easy to be positive. And for others you can talk to yourself and say for exemple they could be more polite with me. It's better then harrassment isn't it ? ^^

thanks for sahring this insightful thought @benanis, I have them both, but the second types only appears when I started to compare my life with others, so.. after a long and indepth observing my own behaviour, I have no reasons to be negative anymore, we're not here alone and by ourselves.. so every dynamic thing is in need positive energy, so.. better be the first type. found your post through @chekohler entry post in the pay it forward contest this week.
