Hey Y'all

Welcome To

Sepia Saturday

Yes I like the way sepia changes the feel of a photo. Guess that's why I thought we needed the SepiaSaturday tag on Steemit.

I always think it is neat how sepai makes the object in the photo seem older. Look here at the Old Guy, looks pretty old for 33 right? Well, see what I mean LOL...

Ok so maybe 33 plus a couple of decades is closer to the truth LOL!!

Feel free to jump in the tag!

Hope Your Saturday is Good!

Maybe we all look good in sepia when we are past 50! :) Anyway the sepia glass jar looks really cool!

Yes that may be the case! LOL!!!

Oh, yeah! I'll have what he is having! Thirty-three? Do you mind if I ask,"Is those dog years or what?"

I love the sepia tag. I will be looking for something that pairs well with it. Flowers just don't do it justice!

Happy #Sepia Saturday!

Pffft the next line under the pic says 33 plus two decades!!! I am old and I admit it!

Oh all those old forts and places you visit would be naturals for it. It's ok, the Old Man is used to being the least favorite :-|

That's true! But, I just posted the Fort on Friday. I will have to wait a respectable amount of time. :)

Thanks for the idea.

Real Thing ... Was an Inn in Manorville. Now a Bar that caters to the Biker crowd.

Oh that is very cool. They had a place like it here on the lake that was a dance hall they called it

Never hurts to ask a question. Sepia is what we call the yellowing' on purpose' of a photo to give it an aged look. Most photos from the late 1800's to the early 1900 often had a yellowish or warm tone to them. Most editing app now have a sepia filter that can be put on to get that look. It's just for fun, try it someday :)

I want to try that app, what's the name of the app if you don't mind?

Many of them will do it. I use Gimp. It free and open source. Its at https://www.gimp.org/

Feel free to ask any questions.

I made a couple tutorial videos:

sorry for the trouble but my phone is not compatible. I'm using an android phone and it's not applicable on it. Anyway thanks for letting me know.

Thirty-three, huh? Yes, the sepia treatment is really working for ya! Great shots, I like the top one a lot. You did a good job with this - after seeing your shots I feel mine are all too dark so I'll take that into account next time :-)

Its funny I did a video on using Gimp to make it. It has a slider and as I slide I seem to always like to go further and further...I am really bad at deciding and can fiddle with the different shades and things all too much lol. I think I like it darker in the video is what I meant to say lol.

Cool, I'm going to check it out!

Haha old-guy-photo. I don't know what sepia is but it looks interesting.

I like what the sepia did to the glass design in the 2nd photo.

33 snicker........ ok... be whatever age you want. LOL
