Jack of no trade
I know everyone has their own paths to lead and struggles they face but one thing really gets to me about people who complain about this and that on Steem yet, FAIL to produce ANYTHING close to worthwhile, engaging, useful, educational, beautiful... something, anything.

The current bar for "quality" on this platform is so damn low yet so many people are seemingly incapable of taking the microstep required to make it over. It is almost like some people try their absolute hardest to avoid providing anything interesting at all. Steem Limbo Champions.
Sure, everyone has their own definition of quality but I wonder if they even enjoy writing and reading their own work and if they were to read similar coming from someone else, would they think it was worthwhile the read at all?
People can claim "I don't have the time" or "The rewards are not worth it" but, why stay here at all then? Sure, some are here to just hangout and read or even just shitpost and cross their fingers but, why them complain about how the platform operates or who is doing what? If you don't care about your own content here, why the hell do you care about what others post or do?
Again, this is about investment into the platform and many people are just not investing but, still have expectations about extracting. Complaining about whales doing this or minnows doing that but at least, they are doing something. Sure, it might be acting like assholes but, at least that keeps things interesting.
The "I don't have the time" excuse gets to me a little considering, it take about 10 minutes to create something that passes the 'bare minimum' requirements and some people are doing this and bidbotting bare minimum into Trending and, no one really cares. Sure, SMTs will solve it all so, screw quality til then.
Worst date ever
What is worth effort in this world, what is something that people deem 'worthwhile enough' that they will invest a little bit of effort into creating something of interest? It is no wonder sex is on the decline, just too much work for too little gain, after all, the X-box doesn't need dinner and a movie before it lets you play.
People are so shortsighted as they talk of all of their hopes and dreams and why they can't reach them because it is all unfair yet, can't put in the smallest amount of effort to even attempt to deliver something from themselves. Are people just so uninteresting these days they have nothing to talk about?
Self-respect
I can only state my reasons why I produce what I do the way I do and that is because I have some self-respect and do not feel I am entitled to reward for nothing. Yeah, I would love to be able to earn a hundred or two on a post but, I don't expect I am going to earn it on nothing posts, even if others are earning this way.
I still have some sembelance of work ethic that says I have to give something to get something, trade something of value, for something of value. What is of value is of course not my place to decide so I can only offer what I think is of value and hope that others on the platform (and in life in general) feel the same and decide, "Yeah, I am going to support that".
A tall order I know in an environment that value is only based on what has monetary return."If you can't make me a little more money than that shitpost next to you, you get nothing".
Rewarding content
It is hard here isn't it? Take a lot of work to get any support, doesn't it? Man, I don't know how many hours I have sunk into this place to get into this position so far while watching 10 minute posts making what I earn in a week. I am retarded to have some personal standards aren't I?
Personal standards of what one produces is for the monkeys who will never make it as while they work themselves, the smart ones are working the system, doing as little as possible for maximum returns. What they fail to realize or ignore is that the Trending page is the result of maximizing the effort/reward system. Optimization of talent for return increases the return, not the talent and as society keeps rewarding it the shittier the talent becomes, the lower the bar.

Recently active users in Steemit are getting downhill. This is due to lack of rewards in the form of rewards.
Each Steemit user, if seeing someone make a post tends to ignore, let alone curate the contents of the post. Because the contents of his wallet is worth a low Steem Power, especially beginners on this platform, it is very difficult to survive. Most people join because they want to get STEEM and SBD, but do not want to invest. When rewards do not match expectations, they become lazy and choose not active.
SP is very influential in Steemit, because it is about money and investing, people are investing, of course, for profit and not for charity, except those assigned by Steemit to curate each user's posts. SP high will do the upvote post high person SP. Beginners with beginner community. This is the phenomenon of business and money.
The main issues are Reward, STEEM and SBD.

Well, to the matters at hand, I have stop a long time ago to complain. I decided to see Steemit as a platform to pitch in your dream other than just a blogging site. For the last two months if you noticed I've taken a lot of time off the blockchain to work on matters which I believe would let me have my own way on the platform. Things have settled and I'm ready to get back to work towards building the communities which means a lot to me.
The first thing everyone should know is that Steemit is just like real life. Life is fair because it is unfair to everyone, so we should learn to live with that.

I think its difficult for people to express there self in general. I by no means have anything speacial of a page. But, it has been a life saver to do my diaries and health journal. Could have never imagined the comfort and healing it has brought. My page is like my room, "i do whatever i want" and "F money".

Well, for me, i don't think its about quality here. Its about interest. Its about producing what people are really interested in. Over my stay here, i have tried quite a few things but what i think people are interested in that much is posts about steemit and cryptocurrency.
But i dont complain. I think there are alot of changes to be done on this platform steemit and it will take time.
I have been here a year and a half, that post was not even halfway down the scale of what I have seen but, because of the bots, most don't get 1500 dollars.
There are alot of crappy posts here that just utilize the bid bots to gain from the platform and make it to the trendy page . I started using steemit because of the passion I have for it and I usually believe in quality over quantity I always appreciate quality writers depict that facts that most of them are not well rewarded for their hardwork . It is all about passion and been creative in other to make this platform the best
So, you decided to copy some of them in the past to bring them into more visibility, yes?
It does take time to produce 'good stuff' but if you like writing then the time taken to do it is negligible. If you enjoy writing and then if people show your appreciation, its a side benefit.
I for one am writing my memoirs of a particularly shitty part of my life , more for my daughter who gets a kick out of 'what dad used to do', but now I have a permanent record on the blockchain. I'm finding it both fun and liberating.
I think this is a nice thing to have. I write a diary for my daughter about her life. I hope one day she will have a chance to read it herself.
I think anyone can post something they enjoy here and it will be better than most of the crap offered.
