Steemjet Gold Bling Contest Result
Greetings citizens and visitors of the Steem ecosystem. This is Lordjames speaking. It's a beautiful weekend over here and together with the art department we've had a busy weekend going through all the entries submitted for the Steemjet Gold Bling art contest. Finally, we've come out with a result which is judged according to the decision made earlier. Read it up here Updates On Existing Art Contests
As directed by @dimimp to judge the Gold Contest with a prize pool of 3000 liquid Steem. I had decided that 5 winners will be selected in the first class category for 200 Steem each. 10 winners will be selected in the second category for 100 Steem each. And since on Steemjet everyone is a winner, the remaining 1000 Steem will be shared to all participants for the contest. Now the result. In choosing the winners, I look beyond just the designs, I also look at the message your art is presenting to the world.

At first I didn't want to include @mbj entry in the winning category as he already won the time contest. But since I couldn't get another entry to beat his, I have to give it to him. It's a classic design and the Steemjet perfectly engraved into the gold bar.

Let's crown Steem with a crown of gold. Most arts are still in the present time when Bitcoin wears the crown but @geyzee looked beyond the present into the future where with global adoption of Steem, Steemjet will one day earn the crown for Steem. Lesson: look beyond the present.

If your entry was not selected as a winning art, it does not mean that you had an inferior design. Every entry was great in its own definition, I had to choose winners and I have my personal taste. All payment will be made from Monday 23:00GMT, any complain will be entertain before then.

I love the idea of steemjet. I know i am already a part of the steemit community and the steem was my first cryptocurrency i actually possessed. Nevertheless, there are many others who has not even head of it. In my internship place, at my free periods, i have tried teaching my colleagues to go get a steemit account. I am still in school and i would one day have a company that would run on the steem.
Beautiful @focygray, in your own little way always reach out to people around you with the information about Steem and the blockchain.
About starting a company on the Steem blockchain, it's a very wise vision and we can promise you that a lot more will be improve on that platform that will make you enjoy having your company on the blockchain. Keep on working on the dreams.

Bro no hard feelings, there were no rules, if there was, you wont be the Money man.
No steemjet contest made me, the money man. If you check very well I have never been on top in any of the graphics competitions except being on the top 5 when dimimp judged it himself but did not pay yet. Although my work is always original, when @lordjames re-judged it. I couldn't even find myself amongst the top 15, but I didn't complain because it is the way he wants to judge it.
The money man is just a nickname @dimimp has decided to call me. If you check very well you will notice that it is only once that he has sent me SBD as his money man.
Do not have any misconception about that nickname "money man" It didn't come from any contests that has no rules.
Happy faces just to see my name not among originality, just know if there were rules in the first place I would have followed.... @dimimp made no rules, he chooses what he likes, my art was featured on his post, just like Olivia everyone condemned, he made it clear, its was his choice.
Whoever judged this its your choice I am not bothered about your victory, what is mine is mine.

Why are you always a pessimist?? The rules has been clearly laid out. I won up-to 4 time entries @dimimp approved and if he were to pay me by himself I'd be counting atleast a thousand steem but what did I get?? 4steem!! Did I argue?? No!! Did I bad talk?? No!! Sometimes u need to look at the bigger picture....volunteering and also what the community is aimed at achieving. Never prioritize self interest. Take care.

Um yeah, people did actually copy designs. I didn't act like I am perfect, or if I did that wasn't my intention.
My design was originally an animation but people preferred the image version. Copying is okay if you make enough modifications. There were plenty of modifications in my .gif version but not in this .jpeg version. It wasn't my choice. I hope you understand and I do actually get where you are coming from.
Your design was 100% copied from someone else after all. And also @lordjames is probably the most influential person in steemjet after @dimimp so he deserves to judge.
