Are you a Saver or a Spender?

Please.... no value judgments... but I am a spender!

It is just my financial personality.

Much like if one is an introvert or extrovert,
reserved and distant or outgoing and sociable.

Many people are in between a spender and a saver.

I am more of the former.

I am a spender and it is just something that is me.

Do you see why silver and gold stacking make sense
in my financial personality?

In stacking, I spend to save!

I save on silver and gold.

I am a Silver Saver.

Sort:

I tend to be more of a saver, but with silver, I just want to get more. Since that's actually saving, I'm a saver that has started spending to save. So I'm #Silverspendertosave888. Ha ha!

Hahahaha, I love it!!!! We use our fiat to buy real money! What a concept, eh?!!!

Wow, another great case of all the wrong examples leading to the right conclusions LOL!!!
You are Spending the fiat/$h!t/paper/tra$h/ca$h and buying REAL MONEY. Cheers!

🌞

Indeed! What a concept!!!! Thanks for stopping by and leaving a comment! I appreciate you.

Thank you for your continued support of SteemSilverGold

Thank you for your continued support, @ssg-community! I appreciate it very much.

Hey, Silversaver. I don't know if you know about the dust threshold for votes, but any comments or posts that don't receive at least $0.02 in votes are considered "dust" and therefore aren't paid out. It's really nice that you're upvoting the community comment to help support SSG, but unless more people come along and upvote it, it won't get paid out and your VP is wasted. (Sad, right?!)

If you want to get around this, you can just vote on their posts/comments that already have $0.02 in votes, so your amount will count, or they could enroll in @dustsweeper which is a paid service that will make sure all their comments hit payout levels. I'll send a message on Discord to leadership and see if they want to sign up.

I hope I'm not out of line by saying that. I think it's awesome you're supporting the community. I just wanted to help you help. I'm not a robot, so I can't be everywhere, but I do see this comment, so I'll upvote it too so that your vote gets paid out.

Have a great day!

Not at all, my friend! I really appreciate it. I am subscribed to dustsweeper. So I upvote, despite seemingly $0 value, and dustsweeper just picks it up usually 5 or 6 days very close to payout. I used to upvote my own post, but noticed that it gets skipped by dustsweeper, so I stop. Those are the votes that are sort of wasted. I've been using dustsweeper when it was first introduced, I think 2 or 3 weeks ago.
I really appreciate you, my friend, for reaching out to me. There are a handful here who are like you, but most will not share information. I am very impressed with your gesture. Take care, and have a great week!

It is good to know that dustsweeper skips autovotes. I have been using it for a few days and I am very happy with their service. Now I love to receive any value of upvote. :=)
By the way, I am a saver.

sounds like me I have a hard time keeping money in the bank but I love having shiny things to look at and play with

I say to myself always: Do not spend more than what you can afford. In fact, do not spend for anything unless the money is available from your disposable income. And then, half of it only gets spent buying the shinies. The other half is put away for cash savings on hand. So if I only have $50.00 disposable income, I will only buy $25.00 max of silver, the $25.00 is put away and added to my stack of cash.

@silversaver888 I believe this is a very good question my friend! I am more of a saver, however I love to buy things that I see value in. I usually end up weighing items out and thinking of it as a pro and con. If I invest now in a remodel down the road more will come from it so I spend. However, there is a part of me that loves to buy or do things that make awesome memories. Going to comic-con, paying 50 bucks for a signature, meeting thiose that made an impression on me. These things could be considered a waste but not to me because they shaped who I am. I guess what I am saying is no matter where you fall its about what you place value on. Luckily, most stackers understand that we hold value so we can use it later on things that will make us happy or benefit family in the end. I mean whats the fun of saving so much you have forgotten to live. Sorry my friend went off on a tangent lol. Appreciate this post and I am a saver for sure!

In practice, starting three months into my stacking, I save half of my disposable income in fiat currency, thus building my fiat currency stack. The other half is spent on precious metals. But some people are extremes. You must have heard stories of elderly people ... die in one-room apartments with few comforts, who, unknown to everyone, had savings and investments of a million dollars or more! Being a saver or a sender is not good or bad. Like anything in life, we all need to strive for balance. GReat comment, @dwingsworld! Have a terrific day. Take care.

Well... I sure do spend a lot of money on silver :P

Yet, we are spending money to buy real money... what a concept!

That’s a good question......I probably fall in the middle of that spectrum as well Saver. While I buy things, most of the things that I buy are fitness and health related. The rest of my purchases are mainly silver and gold, but cryptos are going to now get a little as well. I also buy things for others, it’s just my nature.🌹

I used to 125% a spender, then three months into my stacking as I was watching a stacking video, it hit me! From then on, of the total amount of my disposable income for the month, half is spent on silver and gold, and the half goes to my fiat currency stack. It is a concept that works beautifully for me. Thanks for your comment, @silverd510. I get to know you a little each time. Have a wonderful day! Take care.

You want some more info......here you go. When I was around 19-20 years old. I maxed out three credit cards within six months. That’s how reckless I was. Looked at the bills and said WTF to myself. Waited two months for an investment to mature and paid off the entire balance. Never carried a credit card after that for nearly two years. Being in business for yourself makes you very disciplined though, atleast if you want to succeed. I work way to hard to give my money away. I take a portion from ever job and put it into metals no matter what. Sometimes it’s more then others but I always buy something.

Kudos to you, @silverd510! Very few can get out of the rut they are in. I admire the determination to take action after recognizing the problem. Many do know their financial problems, know the solution, but never take action... and so their revolving debt just increases and financial problems worsens. Yup... your example is truly inspiring! Keep doing what you are doing, my friend! Wishing you more power to your endeavors!

I'm OK with @silversaver888 and Her Personality.................

Are you OK with it, my friend? Are you the same? A spender or a savwr?

I am a Saver.

That is what we actually do... spend our money on silver. But the great thing is that we are spending to buy real money! That is the reason why I prefer that the foundation of my stack are ASEs and US Coins and gold coins.... real legal tender silver. Anything else outside of that are for my collection. Come to think of it, I really need to focus on growing my stack!!! Thanks for leaving a comment, my dear friend. I appreciate you.

Before I touched my first piece of silver I was a spender. Now with knowledge of real wealth and having kids I’m a saver. Great job cungita!

Yes, you are a SilverSaver!!! What a concept, eh?! We spend money to buy real money. I love our hobby! Have a great week, what is left of it... then onto the weekend! Time sure flies... so we need to save hard, i.e., STACK HARD!!!!
