My Wednesday Walk around the neighborhood was focused on enjoying the last of the fall color. The trees get more bare everyday.
I took this photo when I was out on my walk, but this cute little tree is also my view through the dining room window.
And on the other side of the house it is a brilliant yellow right now.
This guy was enjoying this yellow chrysanthemum. I scared him away a few times while I was trying to take his photo, but he immediately would come back.
This loveliness was further down the road.
And my 'don't forget to look up' picture.

There is always something interesting going on outdoors. Actually my bathroom window view is the best one in the house, looking down at the spring, but that always seems so weird to write 'the view from my bathroom window' !

As I am in my office stuck in the concrete jungle its refreshing to see these gorgeous fall colors

Thanks.... This all took place during the one short burst of sunlight we got this week. My poor little lemon tree is already beginning to protest the move indoors and is starting to drop leaves. There simply isn't enough sunlight in here for him to be happy during the winter, and by the time I'm able to put him back outdoors in the spring he looks pretty pathetic.

Thank you! I have an inexpensive Canon Powershot that has a x 50 Zoom. I have a nice camera but my hands don't work well enough these days to be able to change lenses and do all the things that are necessary, so this little light weight camera that I can wear around my neck and still have my hands free for my scooter controls has been a lifesaver for the past 3 or 4 years. It's all I've used. I can't work magic with it, but it usually does an okay job.

Oooh, yellow jackets are nasty little buggers. They're very photogenic, though! We had a nest of them behind the house, one year, and they would sting with absolutely no provocation! Nice phtos, though. It looks as if you're at peak color there.
Most all of the trees are getting pretty bear. There's just a few that are still holding on I had to kind of search for the ones that I have in the photos.
I think that might be a Hoverfly. They don't sting, but mimic bees for protection. I'm not an insect experts though. So I'm not sure!
Truly magnificent images @melinda010100 Those glorious autumn hues should keep you warm throughout winter. Keep them handy because they will at least warm your heart as they did mine........and I'm hot enough.......temperature wise, (lol) That sure is a beautiul bee capture too. (U & R )
