Tree Tuesday and the Break of Dawn
Today is #TreeTuesday with @Old-Guy-Photos! Let's see those beautiful trees!
This is still one of my favorite trees that fall into my path as I am walking. I believe it has gotten a little greener looking. I have to wonder if this is normal for a tree that is on the edge of the forest. Note to self. Ask Alexa. She knows a lot. Sometimes, she is just a know-it-all.

Nature paints a very clear picture for me today. It was a beautifully manicured trail that I walked; I ceased the count of waterfalls, they went on and on…rock outcroppings, open meadows, the way the light hit them- then us…. and the impossibly solid walls of fern at your kneecaps. Oh, yes. It was pure, natural and oh-so-beautiful. Here is a little something I spotted on the trail. I'm sure it was an on-purpose planting as opposed to nature. It is far too early for this to be natural. A wonderful little surprise for me today and so appropriate! This flower is dedicated to #TuesdayOrange #ColorChallenge by @Kalamandra. It surely colored my world today!

they set my aunts house on fire
i cried the way women on tv do
folding at the middle
like a five pound note.
i called the boy who use to love me
tried to ‘okay’ my voice
i said hello
he said warsan, what’s wrong, what’s happened?
i’ve been praying,
and these are what my prayers look like;
dear god
i come from two countries
one is thirsty
the other is on fire
both need water.
later that night
i held an atlas in my lap
ran my fingers across the whole world
and whispered,
"where does it hurt?"
it answered,
"everywhere"
"everywhere"

This is such a beautiful tree! Old and strong - I really like it! And look at all those flowers! Cherry trees are my favorite and I can stare at them for hours. They are just stunning when they are blooming. You are a lucky girl to have one of them in your garden..
I'm looking forward to seeing your artwork finished. It's a great idea to create your own family tree. I'm sure you'll make someone very happy with it :)

Thank you so much for that! When I first moved to the Washington DC area, I was totally taken by the sight of the Tidal Basin with all the cherry trees. I knew that I needed one in my yard and so I bought one and it gifted me with blooms that very year. So, the next year I went and bought another one of a different variety and put that in a different part of the yard. They don't Bloom at the same time but about a month apart so I get to enjoy the beauty of cherry blossoms for the entire spring.
The quilting project by my girls and I is something that we have had so much fun with and so much bonding time and we have learned a lot about her family that we never knew. So we will continue to work on it and when it gets finished, of course I will put another picture up of it. Thank you so much for stopping by and for leaving such a wonderful and thoughtful comment. This is such a wonderful tree post filled with beautiful pictures! But the one thing that really caught my eye is that fabulous quilt that you and your girls are working on!! Excellent work! It’s coming along beautifully ~ 😊

Respect for your push to get out in the dark to run but with the reward of the first glimpse of the morning sun bringing us a new day makes it pretty tempting to me. Running by waterfall sounds so beautiful. Photos please.
Well, honesty, it's not too much of a push to get out because it is absolutely incredibly beautiful once you make a habit of it. The reward is totally worth it! When you see that some bursting through the trees, you too would make a habit of it. I'll have to catch the waterfall when I go buy it next. It really is beautiful I do actually like using the battlefield, because it has a million trails and I take a different alone all the time.

Oh you sure do TreeTuesday right! You your Alexa know a lot, mine 98% of the time will not respond to me. Honest to God. It respends to Ben just fine and Ash too. Ben thinks I need to reset it someway because he has noticed how it blanks me, it has gotten to be funny now!!!
I love the real trees and the one you are making as well. Cant wait to see it again when finished! I better to try to cobble a Tree Tuesday post before the day gets away from me! Seems I am behind already and I had a head start on the day even. Keep those sunrises and sunsets with you. It warms the soul. Great post as always Princess!!
You know when you ordered Alexa, I told you that she tended to be a man-hater so you only have yourself to blame!? In actuality, it's probably the Timbre of your voice. She tends to ignore people with low Timbers to their voice. Try your falsetto, that may work on her.
Spring is such a wonderful time, isn't it? The trees started putting out their Greenery Everything Is Beautiful. I'm sure when that song was written, it was written at the spring.
The quilt that will be a wall hanging has been an amazing adventure working with my girls. It's been a lot of fun and we've talked endlessly about relatives and who is related to who and who looks like who and thank God we don't look like them. You know. Girl talk. Seriously though, it has been fun and they have learned a while and they've taught me few things along the way.

Thank you, my friend! I absolutely love tree Tuesday and everywhere I go I look for a tree to photograph. It's something easy that I can do and I love posting eclectic trees here and there.
The family tree has been an interesting piece to work on and we have found more than we want to know about the family at times! But, all in all has been a fun project for the girls and I! You don't have to be crack that whip! I'm working as fast as I can! LOL

Denise I just re-read your message and the poem. It is because of people like you that I stay at Steemit too and am inspired and motivated to continue sharing my work here as well. We truly DO live in a wonderful world and the diversity of it all can expand and explode in our mind's eye the more we share our little portion of it.
And yes sometimes it's not always as easy to find the energy we want/need in order to share our joy, as we are aware that the earth is hurting in so many places ~ But we CAN and you DO.

Thank you so much, Ally! I I cannot begin to tell you how much that means to me. I always think that we live in a Wonderful World and I wonder why people don't look around in wonder. There are amazing little pieces of life surrounding us, and some days all we have to do is look right in front of us.
Having lived in many different parts of the world open my eyes to the diversity of it all. The funny thing was that people were people no matter where you at, the only difference was the circumstances under which they lived. I've been to many places when they were communists and lived close when the wall fell. So much has changed in these few years and I can honestly say it's been an eye-opening experience.
It's funny but I wrote the first paragraph when I first came home because I was bursting at the seams from the beauty of it all. Nothing can beat it when Morning Has Broken! Thank you so much for all of your kind words and your thoughtful comments. They are always appreciated.
