WINTER
Divide my heart
From your soul
SPRING
The drifting of my thoughts
Far and away
Begin and end with you
SUMMER
Hide them in the clouds
Until the weight of time

Beauty in each season with peaks of intense shows
Life is meant for living and delighting in each new day
Even as I watch the shift in time
Right before my very eyes
One by one I see them go

Okay... you know the drill!!! Let's do a refrigerator check!!! Open up wide and take a picture! That always keeps me honest on the junk I put in it. I just finished shopping (again!)the other day, so it has awesome yumminess still inside!

I have to say this is a most beautiful post. Such lovely seasons of trees, and as the words of the song express, such lovely seasons of the heart... totally beautiful.
This however is so wrong!
I have had the pleasure of seeing some of your "lame" shots and they are anything but lame. You take some of the most stunning shots of anyone on the site! Seriously your "lame" outshines my best every single time. So knock it off. You dont want to anger the Old Guy LOL. Simply put none of your photos are lame, ever.
This is a good excuse to share my favorite song about the seasons. From Camelot, of course...

Thank you so much for your vote of confidence which is a big deal because you have probably seen more of my trash than anybody else. I know that not every picture is a loser, but I also know that I have a lot of less than good pictures out there. I wasn't speaking specifically of these, but rather of the shots that I took for #TreeTuesday. It was the day that it snowed and I thought my tree pictures would come out really great and they were a complete flop. Most of that had to do with the grey Dawn that was over the national capital area, and so now I can appreciate the one that you have been living under for the past 53 years.
I'm glad that you like the seasonal trees. To be honest with you the song that I chose was going to be You've Got a Friend by James Taylor, but honestly oh, I couldn't find a decent picture with a video of JT. So, even though most people wouldn't listen to it or read the words, I chose a beautiful #Korean ballad to express my thoughts. It's really beautiful and the words are lovely. I left a little poem on each of the trees, because tree Tuesday is your baby and I know how you like poetry. So this post is for you. Well let me clarify the it is not for you or about you but it's for you. You know what I mean.

I love the seasonal concept, brilliant idea Denise :) The spring shot is just breathtaking. I was really having fun in the past couple of days while compiling my very first entry to the TreeTuesday photo challenge. I will definitely be a regular participant. I love trees!
Oh, that means that you put an entry in and I'm going to have to check it out! It is a fun kind of entry and I think that you would probably like the monochrome Monday too. There an easy way to enter into the mainstream posting, especially because you are so specialized. Of course yours is very special. Always.

Great post, @dswigle.. I love the photo of the maestro, what great expression! And your four seasons shots are wonderful too... Oh my Luigi!! Clearly, I am very eclectic and can never stick to one subject for very long. I know I go all over the place and it probably drives people crazy, time for some reason I start posting like that and it starts growing into something else. So instead of fighting it like I used to do, I now just go with it and hope for the best.

Ohh yes I have had that happen to me many times thinking i had great shots on the camera and uploading them onto my compuiter to find I had got it so wrong and none were worth working on, but I love that shot from the dragon festival so beautiful and fun, and of course the blues my fav color
I know I wish I could have used more of those Lantern Festival shots. I didn't want to overwhelm everybody and something so specialized you can only use once and maybe a shot here there. I have no idea why I tree Tuesdays one of my favorite tags, ever since TSU. Maybe that's why I like it because it has continued on just like the rest of them and it feels like old home week every time I post it.
I want to thank you always for the wonderful support that you always provide me and for taking the time and the patience to comment and answer me back on my oh so many comments!

Yes I love tree Tuesday as well,its cool there are still a few of us from TSU hanging in here, and I do love trees as well I think more so since working in the big city for so long, theres not enough of them there
and no thanks needed, I do feel honored to be your friend and I find we often have such interesting trails of comment sits not a task doing them it is pleasure :)
and if on Farcebook, you get any notification of any member of lulus family celebrating anything , do not waste your time making any comment he is trying to ignore it and won't have time to reply to the comments :)
There's nothing like a big city to make you really appreciate a tree, or even a flower growing wild and free. Washington DC has a fair amount of trees as there aren't the skyscrapers that there are in New York City. I have kept it major city but very refined in its Landscaping. I'm really glad to see that.
I too am very happy to see so many TSU people here although we have lost a couple to the Slowdown, but I have great faith that eventually things will straighten out. Somehow. I hear you about Facebook and I will not respond to them. Thanks for the heads up.
Yes they indeed but I guess NYC is good with some good sized parks and greenery but it’s just not the same as open areas in more rural settings
I guess this drop in steem values shows who are hear more for the interaction and community and not just to try and make a few bucks
Truth! The steem drop is killing us! Sadly. I thought this was also a social platform, and seemingly one of the best there was. Until it dies, I will probably hang on, it has seen lower than this.
Some of the old-time people here started when it was 7cents and that wasn't even the beginning. So, we are doing well, right? I started with nothing and I am still money ahead.
But, it really isn't about the money for me, so I guess that makes it different as opposed to the true crypto people. Crypto is still interesting and intriguing, but, I am not trying to supplement or live off it.
So, maybe this is why I feel different about the platform?
Yes I am the same I did invest a couple of hundred early on, but took that out as a test when steem climbed, so all I have is invested is time, and prior to steemit I would have spent that time on Farcebook Instagram or others so I am ahead also and have met so many interesting people onit its a win win for me no matter what the price is,
I think the ones leaving are those that thought they could make a living from it and retire and live a life of luxury with posting quick posts , I never had such crazy expectations
