Art on the Side of a school in Soho
A while back I shared this post and mentioned there was some other cool art on the school building and in this post I will share some of the Art

I was on a morning walk to check out a couple of the Eduardo Kobra murals in the city, and as I was strolling along I saw this building in the distance and had to go check it out.

As I got closer I saw there were two big murals on the building either side of the mural in the middle I featured in the post I mentioned above, the one on the right is another Eduardo Kobra Mural I was not aware of so finding it was a bonus on that mornings walk, but the one on the left was quite interesting as well.
At first I did not realize it was a school but when I got to this point and saw all the school buses it was clear thats what it was.

And this is a closer in shot of this Mural, I am not real sure what I make of it, quite unique and to me a little weird.

That mural was stopped almost before it started. I think it had to do with permits and such, I cannot remember.
It also was a collaboration with several different artists and wasn't the brainchild of Eduardo, although having him involved was amazing! I love this mural and yes! It is a school there and that was done on purpose when the spot was selected. (that and it is hard to get that much real estate to paint!)
I love how you included those big old yellow buses! They really add to the picture and the story! Another superb capture going on here!

I did just read that the murals all combined is the biggest space for Murals in NYC, and it seems this was not one of his recent murals but one he did a few yers ago and I had never seen
I am glad it went through and was done, I will do a post on the Eduardo KObra side of the mural soon

Yeah it does stand out and catch ones eye for sure
That's an interesting colorful painting, showing nature and life. This heart-clouds-water thing is strange though, I think, but all in all a really nice image.
We don't have such big paintings on the houses in our town - sometimes the walls are painted and colorized, but real murals in this size I haven't seen yet ... I like it, @tattoodjay 😊
It is interesting the heart was kind of weird ot me but I guess to some it may have a meaning,

I am normally good at finding things through google but I failed with this one so thanks for coming to the rescue :)
In the lower left corner of the mural is written Magda Lovei - I just googled this and found a World Bank Practice Manager for Environment & Natural Resources, but when I added "mural" I found Magda Love :)
LOL I always think I am pretty observant, but till you mentioned dit i had not noticed or paid attention to the Magda Love on the mural
